I was wondering what the hell the dislikes were for. I'm personally glad they're not for Skin in particular, they're more about her views on Michael Jackson and his accusers. Fair enough.

I dont agree with her opinion on MJ, however that doesn't take away the effect she and the entire band have on me..I'll always be a fan!

She said one thing people obsessed with M.J. didn't like, and they immediately forgot everything wise she said as well, and there were lots of such things. You people in the comments are a mob.

So disappointed.

So disappointing to see someone I have been a fan of since the 90s to take part in the lynching of an innocent dead man. I expected more from her. If you can't be bothered to look up facts and educate yourself on a case then you should not be talking on the subject, it's just that simple.

Great interview(er). I could not endure to not to replay a small piece, in order to get over my insufficient English, and/or attention fluctuations, before I have reached the finish line.

Wow... after being a SA fan for almost 20 years... in a click of a finger, they are now DEAD to me. What a horrible horrible thing for Skin to say about an innocent dead black father in this video. It just goes to show that despite the talent she has, it's all wasted due to the proof that she lacks any kind of critical thinking. This lady is amazing but sadly I can no longer support her after that. MJInnocent, and not because he can sing and dance, because he was, provably so. Sorry they tricked you.

Longtime fan of Skunk, but not of 'Skin'. The musicians write the songs, not her, and its their extraordinary cohesion and technique that makes the band what they are. Skin just uses it as a platform to act the victim. Not everyone knows this but the band were gigging for years before Skin joined. Only with a dark-skinned lesbian on the songs/marketing did they get signed. Their music wouldve been uncredited and unknown to everybody if it was up to the PC record labels. The riffs, the beat placement, the bass tension, the texture, the music in general, thats all Ace, Cass and, later, Mark. Not the singer. Yet, as usual, shes the one that gets the interview. Shes the one on the thumnails. On the promotional materials

And Ace, Cass and Mark learned early on to put up with that complete inequality - because without the PC image, they know from hard experience that theyd never get a deal.

Every band needs "Marketing" and most bands have lead singers that are appealing. That's for a reason. I love Depeche Mode but it was Martin Gore that wrote all the songs. Does that make David Gahan sht because of it? Not everyone can be a singer/performer and carry an act. Some are talented but prefer being in the background. Sounds like a great combination to me.

Are you aware of how fucking good she is as a singer and as a frontwoman? You dismiss that and you even claim her motive for being one of the biggest female rock vocalists is to use her success as a platform to play the victim? What are you a fucking closet racist or something? Either that or just a dumb fucker. This band are where they are today because of her. All great bands need a figurehead. Deal with it, her band have and they fucking love it.
