Why is it that there is no more static brake check? It started with applied brake check immediately.

Hi Danny! Yes your absolutely correct. The exact reason i have not found but the Feds are constantly changing regulations for the job and for testing. I actually need to update some of my videos because the rules and regs are changing rapidly it seems in this past year. The state examiners for testing no longer want to hear about non applied air leakage as well as "should not loose no more than 45 seconds unassisted from 85 psi to 100 psi " anymore either. Ill be working on it to upload more videos. Thanks, Ricky

No trailer brake tug test needed this year?

Hi Adam, there is no "trolley"brake tug test required for authorized testing grounds. While testing they require you to test your red valve, yellow valve and service brakes. Air leakage test is required also. The examiners use to check for non applied static tests but now only applied static test as well. There are many changes over the years for testing but all are easy to apply. I will try to keep up-to-date as i recieve information and keep.posting new videos. Thanks for.watching!
