In BLOOM! CHERRY BLOSSOMS At UW Quad 2022!! 🌸🌸🌸
A visit to cherry blossoms at UW Quad on the evening of Friday March 18, 2022. They are now in bloom and my guess is that it'll be about a week before they reach peak bloom. Lots of people enjoying this beautiful place. The cherry blossoms at UW truly is an annual event and tourist destination. It should be very busy there in the next week or so!

Wow! So beautiful! Those old trees with their knarly limbs and then those gorgeous blooms! I wanted to smell those magnolias so bad! What a beautiful campus! Thank you for sharing
Awesome video, I’m temporarily staying up in Washington state and in university district! Was going to check out the cherry blossom festivals today
magnolias already bloomed in Bay Area,California, back in Feb and done with before March.
So interesting to see cherry blossoms in Seattle already, nothing here in NJ/NYC yet but maybe next month, I live close to the park that has the over 3,000 cherry blossoms, the Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ

Recently got accepted and invited to their admitted students event but I can't go because my parents don't want to, seeing this makes me fairly jealous but also quite eager to finally see it when I'm a student next year.

To put it simply, drone licences don't exist. There is no longer a distinction between a hobbyist and a commercial operator. It all comes down to what aircraft you are using and where you are operating. Exception for Recreational Flyers. If you have a sub-250 gram drone like the Mini 2, you'll only need to register if you plan on using it for commercial operations..
I've always thought the Quad was beautiful, but when the trees are in bloom it's stunning ! One of the prettiest places in Seattle.

In bloom for 2 weeks
They seem to be more pale while the blooms on mine are deeper pink. Still love so much. I have some tattooed on my foot. Mine is probably a month out from full bloom approximately.

Sakura trees? Are they different than the other blooming cherry trees? Sakura means "cherry blossoms " in Japanese. I had a show cat named Sakura Jade.

That person probably didn't have permission. Some people just like to live on the dangerous side? Or are just plain ignorant? I have a Mavic Mini and it's extremely difficult to find areas where I can fly and record. So many zones are off-limits or require a licence. Even then, people who happen to be in the area are quick to judge and give you a hard time for having a drone in flight without giving their "educated" opinion on the matter.
