In a Sentimental Mood" is a jazz composition by Duke Ellington. He composed the piece in 1935 and recorded it with his orchestra during the same year. Lyrics were written by Manny Kurtz; Ellington's manager Irving Mills gave himself a percentage of the publishing,[citation needed] so the song was credited to all three. Other popular versions in 1935/36 were by Benny Goodman and by Mills Blue Rhythm Band-
JASON VIEAUX
Jason Vieaux (born July 17, 1973, in Buffalo, New York) is an American classical guitarist. He began his musical training in Buffalo, New York at the age of eight, after which he continued his studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In 1992, Vieaux was awarded the Guitar Foundation of America International Guitar Competition First Prize, the event's youngest winner
NPR describes him as, "perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation, and Gramophone magazine puts him "among the elite of today's classical guitarists His album Play won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Classical Instrumental Sol

an Ellington favourite....a terrific intro...this has always been the most wistful of songs, with a perfect title...those moving chords are absolutely lovely... a magnificent performance....and i absolutely love the bluesy trills at 1:26

What great arrangement of a dream composition. If I had the score in front of me I would think:" So beautiful, but much too difficult to play" Congratulations!
