I promise you this video will change kids' lives. Any gay kid, esp in the closet, is going to relate to this and identify with it and suddenly feel SO NORMAL. So validated. If only there had been something like this when I was in high school!

David was so right when he said: "You have to be courageous to follow your heart." It's currently my favourite quote.

This animated short is amazing and has a beautiful message. The heart wants what it wants. This needs to be shared with not only children, but teenagers, adults, and our elders. This deserves an Oscar!

Love how supportive you all are of the short. When I watched it I just couldn't believe it was something that finally represented the love I connect with. Totally agree about flipping the genders in my mind when watching or listening to things.

I noticed that the ad at 1:12 was from CBU, a Christian university, which (probably) teaches the exact opposite of the points this short film is trying to get across: that love is universal, and gay love ( which I connect with ) is just as valid as heterosexual love.

I was born bisexual in 1963. So when I grew up. To allow anyone to know that I didn't just like girls. Would have been a death sentence here in Texas. An animated short like this could not have existed then for several reasons. But mostly because the bigoted Christian Church wouldn't have allowed it to exist. Had I had something like this to assure me that I wasn't born a human reject. Maybe I wouldn't be the broken human being I ended up being today. Denying half of who you are is devastating to your psyche and mental development. I can attest to that unfortunately.
