The commentators don't really know what they're talking about. He wasn't trying to be "fancy" or finish with "a flourish" at any point. And he didn't try to do anything flashy at all. He did make a mistake by slightly changing what he had been doing. But that was caused by anxiety... wanting to end the match before Park could rethink anything... and a certain over-confidence in his ability to draw Park into a quick double-hit to finish the match. That turned out to be a strategic error. But looking for a cheap quick double-hit before your opponent is fully prepared... is the opposite to trying to finish with a "flourish". By the time Park got back to 14-12 ...Imre had lost control of his own tactics... and unthinkingly retreated into a far too reactive defensive stance.
