Considering the lowest contribution to Indian economy, if Zee News or Aaj Tak launches a campaign calling muslims as the main cause of mess in the Indian economy (termites), will it be a surprise for you? If just prayers and duas were enough, the beloved prophet (PBUH) would not be in the line of fire in the battles, at 60+ age, leading as a real (not symbolic) army chief. His prayers were enough for the people, resulting in instant cure from diseases, even instilling life in an almost dead person. This is described by Allama Iqbal as the miracles of all the prophets, combined together, having been given to our prophet (PBUH). Still, he led the wars like a soldier, digging the trench during the ghazwa e khandaq. His prayers would have defeated the enemies, for sure. But, Allah doesn't teach us this route for countering the impending crisis.
Are we true followers of our prophet? Or, just doing lip service?
Shall we join this vital mission to empower the muslim masses, trying to create success stories in clusters which are left behind, which are struggling in the darkness of hopelessness? Or, just talk, talk and talk? Or, wait for some messiah to come? Some politician would do it for us?
Are we muslims really the chosen people from the ashraful makhluqat (best of creatures)? Without doing anything, we can be the chosen people?
Look at the graph and see where we are. Who is responsible for this if not us, ourselves? As chosen people, and Allah with us, how can anyone else cause this ignominy for us?
It's never too late! Join the mission so that we don't have to regret later, so that our next generations don't blame us for their rotten status. Join the campaign before the government and the media portrays us as termites eating into the economy, burden on the economy, and speed up their hate campaign against us.
Let's first try our best to raise the status of the community, then pray and beg before Allah to make a success of our efforts.
