Love how I’m having a mind breaking conversation with my bestfriend about being more kind to myself and not taking people crap and then I hear a notification on my phone next to me 😂 Devine intervention I guess 😂😂😂

The part about laziness really got me. 😭 I’ve been trying so hard to be motivated to return to work after a year and a half of unemployment. I got really burned out at my last job and I think my brain is trying to protect me from feeling that way again so I find it so difficult to want to go back. I feel so lazy, but it’s on my mind every single day. I get worn out thinking about it to the point where I can barely manage to do any household chores. It makes me feel so guilty that my husband is at work all day, and I only manage to cook us dinner some days. 😢 but I’m working on getting into therapy to work through this and other thing from my past that I believe are also holding me back. Sending lots of love and encouragement to everyone who feels the same way, here in the comments. You are not alone❤

@@tay2564 It sucks!! I’m sorry! But at least there is solace I knowing we aren’t alone 🫶🏻 I’ve got my first therapy appt in a few days. Hoping I can get myself back on track. (I just don’t know how long that will take, but I’ve gotta start somewhere!) I hope you have or find someone you can talk to about how you’re feeling. I think the worst part about feeling this way is keeping it all in but then expecting ourselves to just keep going. I think keeping a lot of things bottled up is what ultimately got me to this point, perhaps you as well? The problem is that I wasn’t always ready to talk about things the way I feel I am ready now. So if that’s the case for you, just know I understand. Anyway, I wish you the best and hope you find healing and more self love. Sending virtual hugs ❤️

"How you're feeling makes sense" really hit me!!! I always give others the benefit of the doubt whenever they don't come through with something, but then its hard for me to understand why I cant shake the feeling of fatigue and low energy I have, even though I'm going through a breakup of a 3y relationship and I'm under pressure to submit my graduation thesis and project and then defend and then prepare to move back to my home country ... uffffff😮‍💨

I just love this woman. I can’t afford therapy because my salary doesn’t allow me to pay one. I’ve got my bills and my family to help financially so it’s quite hard to put some aside for it. But every single video with Steph is a free therapy literally… May God bless for your work. You are AMAZING ❤❤❤… Can’t wait for your next video ❤️🥹

I don't know why but for some strange reason, I have been struggling with feelings of jealousy over other people's successes and I find myself triggered by some which causes feelings of inadequacy to rise up within me (long story because there is more to this story really than I feel comfortable disclosing here) but would you please talk about jealousy and how to deal with such feelings when they come up and also dealing with feelings of regret from actions of the past, thank you!

I needed to hear that the reaction that I'm having makes sense for what's going on in life. That helped me feel less alone in normal feelings and put less pressure on myself to get over everything and that there was something wrong with my reactions

Thanks so much for the actionable advice 💕 the talking in the mirror and acknowledging the neutral parts of life that are ok to slip through the cracks is great, and just talking in the mirror as a form of journaling. I love the work with your body advice. It helped me come up with a better plan to get into reading. While I dread sitting and reading, I really love reading and learning. It seems so overwhelming when there’s so many things about your life and self you would like yo change or improve. I end up not doing anything because it seems impossible.

Im definetly not insecurity free but I would say I don’t really have any physical insecurities in regards to my looks. I think that comes from a detachment from my body. This is really just an avatar and don’t get me wrong, I like dressing nice and I look at myself and think I’m gorgeous but when I’m not looking so hot , I don’t care very much because this is just a body. And I’m grateful that it helps me move and experience life yk? But I do have a bevy of emotional insecurities lol
