Improving MS Symptoms with Diet and Lifestyle Changes

Can we improve our symptoms and overcome deficits of our multiple sclerosis (MS)? Yes! In this video I share that through my research into ways to help manage my MS symptoms (including the Wahl’s Protocol, the Best Bet Diet, the research of Dr. Roy Swank, Overcoming MS and others) I found stories of hope and many stories of people with MS that have made improvements. I also share how neuroplasticity can help us gain improvements and how physical therapist Dr. Gretchen Hawley explains how we can rewire our brains to send better signals. I have made improvements to my symptoms using a combination of a whole food plant based diet, regular exercise, good sleep, and kindness/stress reduction.

What small, marginal gains are you going to make? What will you do to improve?

Thank you Laureyna! It is ok and normal to be scared. No matter what your diagnosis turns out to be, remember you can live well with it! It may take time and effort but you can! I now think of my MS as a condition I live with. We all have our things, whether it be heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, or MS, but we can take exquisite care of ourselves and live our best lives with it! Keep me posted on how you are doing!
