That's why you have to cultivate your joke telling. Practice with yourself, in front of a mirror. You have a huge sense of humor, why, that's neat! Write things you find funny down and try recording yourself while performing material. You see the whole image of you as a raconteur, not just a joker. And try to apply that persona next time you find the opportunity to make people laugh.

I'm an introvert and ONLY react to what people say. So it does make sense to do this. By actually saying things out loud on funny subjects. You get used to the feeling. I looked up this video to help someone in my classes. I want to give him tips because he constantly tries to be funny but never is, and is usually mean to people while doing it. He’s always a pain to everyone around him because of how annoying it is. He’s the only person who laughs at his jokes and doesn’t really understand social cues. This video seems really helpful for giving him tips on what he could do better

Humour, is definitely a person’s own take on life. It’s unique to each person. I laugh at myself everyday. Just be careful that it doesn’t become deprecating humour - easily done and something I get told off for at times - I still get laughs though, due to the twist that’s put on it. Laughing WITH me, not At me......big difference. Thank you for your energy, it’s almost contagious....in a good way, not as in getting the ‘lurgy’ type way.

Humor is actually something you can lose! I used to be the class clown. I chose to be the class clown because i loved seeing people smile, i don't know why, but smiles make my day brighter. I never wanted to offend anyone, but i ended up making someone cry because i took my jokes too far. then the following day, i made someone scream at me because... of course, i was bein mean. So i took a break for a couple of months, and guess what? my humor magically disappeared! Now, i'm not boasting or anything, but i just wanted to tell a story in the middle of the night cause i can't sleep.

I can relate to this.There was a time when i used to be very funny and made self depreciating jokes, jokes on the teachers teachings,later the teacher got annoyed and made me sit in an isolated location for me to stop commenting on him from that day on I've lost my ability to joke. Now I'm very boring and want to improve my life.Are there any ways not to be boring?

Xavier morais yeah 2 rules ive learned from experience. 1. To be able to even tell a joke you have to be with your friends not by yourself in isolation so stay away from jokes that interrupt class unless your certain its worth the laugh or you have a nice teacher 2. Never and i mean never tell a joke that would hurt someones feelings, it may be funny for you but for the other person they’re embarrassed or annoyed and do this enough and no one likes u sooooo...

One thing i learnt in life is that to be humourous you need to be energetic,little practice only then you can deliver timely.

That's the thing alpha....im always smiling....

You can be funnier by studying, practicing and trying to follow the humor in social medias, especially here in You tube.

My problem is I can say something really funny in my head and image it and make myself laugh. But the second it comes out of my mouth is not funny anymore. I feel like I just can’t explain what I’m thinking. I also don’t have enough confidence when telling jokes so the way I say the joke isn’t funny. I’m so afraid people won’t laugh or I’ll embarrass myself that I just stay quiet or say it as if I’m not expecting a reaction, as if I didn’t say anything funny.

I have a very childish yet dark, morbid and mysterious sense of humor. Normally when I'm doing my work I often use my theoretical knowledge to my advantage however when I'm out with my friends I turn into this immature funny duddy child who can drive with 1 leg out the window, because i like the cold wind throttling my leg hairs, what a wonderful feeling .

I watched this video cause no one at school laughs at my jokes but only friends of mine that are not from school laugh and other people laugh also I don't have confidence. I am shy, I am getting anxious everytime i meet a new person or stand infront of someone It's hard please help :(

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that :( But you do have a sense of humor if you make people smile. Cause I have a shy personality too and I thought I wasn't that funny either. At least you make somebody laugh that's all worth the while ;-) Continue being you, but don't offend anyone. No, no, noo don't do that. But keep on smiling, don't worry there are some people who will get your jokes :-))
