I appreciate your comment! We all get to this point eventually in the modern age - there’s just too much happening to be able to hold onto everything. These concepts have really helped me.

Exactly. What I'm thinking now is that there is not necessarily too much happening, but we expose ourselves to too much information. So, maybe a combination of "selective memory" (what you were talking about in the video), and reduced exposure to information to improve our "performance" in daily life would be best. Thus, a focus on fine tuning acquired knowledge instead of overwhelming ourselves with new knowledge. @DrewTalksTech

Very wise words! That is something I began to touch on in a prior video about reducing the overwhelm from our smartphones. But adding to that - I’m barely on social media anymore and I avoid following most world news and things which bring me anxiety without having a direct impact on my life. There’s so much we can cut down on.
