Thank you for taking the time to make, yet another, very informative and helpful video for those of us starting out with this new adventure!
Let me tell you: your channel seems to be the most sympatic unicycle channel on youtube. I`m riding for 4 weeks now and your tipps and the way you run your channel are inspiring, intelligent and make fun to me. Thanx a lot from Germany, the country where you ride in chance of being jailed for EUC- riding;-))
This is such a useful video that beginners need to see!
Her little smile peeking through the helmet is so cute. As a 2 day old EUC rider a lot of this made sense and deff helped me! Thank you both!
I was practicing with my Ninebot One S2. Took me a month to suit myself on the euc with many falls. Now I finally can ride it.
Thanks guys, as an 83 year old rider I enjoy your tips. Thanks from Calgary Alberta.
Excellent Video, I am at the same time frame as your girlfriend, riding 10 out of 13 days here in Canada now on snowy/icy surfaces and pavement. Ya, got my Tesla 2 weeks ago, plan on riding on the lake here as soon as it freezes, with modded tires of course. Love your channel, been watching it for consistently. Will try to keep up with your girl friends progress! She is a great addition to your channel !
Great video, new rider here looking forward to using some of this advice as soon as my ankle heals up. Ended up rolling my ankle while falling off my EUC, fortunately it was at slower speeds. Thank you and keep up the great content!
one minor thing that I learned is at the start. where you slightly kick-off to start. if the EUC is pointing straight forward I find the kick-off means I am going somewhat to the right (I begin with my right foot on it, and left foot on the ground). Slightly pointing it to the left results in a much straighter start
Just saw these 2 vids. I won't be picking up an EUC until next year, but i will definitely be revisiting these 2 videos when I do. I would this year but already have an ebike coming and I need to pedal for quite some time.
Got out today into snow (now having ridden 120km) Riding offroad helps me so much! The One-foot riding/starting is still my nemisis. Will try to do this more. Thank for your channel, it's a great help
Here in the desert I had to learn on dirt roads & bike trails. I bought a used Ninebot e+ I could bang up and gave it a very low tire pressure. When I finally tried the pavement I felt like a master already. This week they say my v11 pre-order ships woot woot.
Thank you for the great tips. I just started learning and can go about 20 feet before chickening out and stopping. At least I am getting practice starting and stopping.
Thanks! Another useful and informative video.. I also really like you both making these together, it comes across really well. !👍
Thanks guys, we definitely need Part 3 for more advanced riders! 👍 Awesome job!
Go kate!! this will hopefully get my girlfriend to ride.
This is great stuff my dude! Exactly the right lessons at the right time. Love your channel! Keep rockin it! 🤘
One more tip: How Adam say in previous video for beginers ,lower PSI(tire pressure) is easy to ride for beginers something between 25-35 Psi optimal. 👨👩👧😊😉👍🏻™
Great points from a great team. Thanks.
Couple videos work! Having a different perspective, or, one the echoes and reinforces the discussion points. Keep up the videos. Ride safe. Stay safe.
Good tips, I'm currently learning to ride, unfortunately there's a lot of snow on the ground now, so can only practice inside for a while.
Thank you guys for those precious tips for beginners. Can't wait to get started!!! (Everybody around me is calling me crazy because I'm supposedly too old for this. ha!)
I'd like to say a massive thankyou to wrongway and Kate for your videos on learning euc's. I watched a lot of your learning videos before buying my kingsong 16s and I cam happily say I have learnt to mine within a week. On day 3 of riding I took my euc into town and on day 5 I took it on a group ride with escooters in my capital city which was scary but I successfully made through a 30k ride. Today on day 7 I did some off road where I encountered sand and I had the confidence to not back out and powered on through. It put my skills to the test and after that everything fell into place and I made that connection that happens when the euc becomes an extension of your body and it felt amazing. So thankyou for all of your videos from the learning ones to which one to buy and every other video you guys make.
Super super helpful and you're both so friendly cheers
Kate great tip on foot position. Someone that is just starting out could give up due to wrong positioning. Happy New Year! ✌️💚
Thanks! Great help and advices. Keep up the good work.! 🙂👊
Great video and thank you for your tips! You both are awesome together :)! In the next part of the "learning series" you could maybe talk a bit about tyre pressure. I am learning euc now on my v5f and Tesla v2. Your videos are very useful for me!
I had skates, skateboard, bikes and motorcycle. I needed something new. I bought a monomagic fat tire with handles and seat. Learning on my own, I found out that it was easier standing. I only sit when stop.
I'm accelerating 50 km uphill, but this video makes me realize that I am still a beginner. Thanks for the tips!
Great video Adam 👌
Thank you very much! It was a very nice explanation!
Had about 6 or 7 hrs on the wheel now. Put my tyre ressure up to 48psi as recommeded on the tyre. Much harder. Ill keep it at that until i get better then take it back down. Also, astro turf with the rubber pieces in it is really difficult. It is almost slidy on turns. Did most of my first few hours on kids playgrounds with that soft rubber stuff on them. Really good for learning and crashing. Plus they have obstacles and slopes which speeds up the learning curve.
Kate is a natural in front of the camera! Wrong Way is a team now!
most excellent, wrong ways!
Awesome. U guys rock. Thanks
Cool video thanks for sharing. 🤙
Thank you for the tips
Great video. Gotway Tesla V3 looks like a great wheel. But the price is close to the Nikolas Plus.
This is great keep making more tutorials please especially how you go upstairs and do off-roading and jumps and what to do when you get hit by a car
Happy New Year! It is good to hear these tips. I am pretty new and have been doing all of this over the 500km I have done on my Nikola and MTen3. Once I was able to quickly mount and dismount the wheel I felt very comfortable doing everything else. Being able to start off with just one foot was key for me. It just took miles of riding to get the muscle memory and now things just feel awesome. It would be great to see an extreme riding video with a focus on how to avoid and mitigate speed wobbles (above 30MPH).

I just got a gotway monster v3 100v and a have had a blast with this heavy beast. It’s my first full powered euc my very first euc was a swagroller (9mph top speed) so it’s been a challenge learning to handle the weight and size as a 145lbs 5 foot 7 guy. so far I can’t go over 20-25mph without sitting for stability from wobbles. And turns are very hard at speed. Already have the inside of the knee bruise cuz I don’t have my leatt dual axis yet and I grip the wheel so hard. I’d really like to be able to hit 30mph or so standing and hit turns faster. I’ve got a seat, spiked pedals, pads, and upgraded street tire. I wanna get deeper cushier power pads already lol.
Many thanks ! 🙏
@6:10 I have a tip as an "old school" slalom skier. You dont need to turn your body, just let out the EUC from the hips downwards to the LEFT or RIGHT. Imagine doing a puckle piste when skiing on old non cruved skiis. Hard to explain but once You master it You will turn on a dime (faster than a wide wheel) and being able to do EXTREMELY fast turns in high speeds as the wheel will move in synchro below your hips, no added effort...it kind moves on its own as long as you allow it :)
I love you too guys. I wish I knew what cameras you like I want to get a scenery touring camera like you use but I want to be able to hook it plug it right into it TV and watch it on TV without fuss
Yes! A lot was very efficiently, and concisely covered! (Go Kate!) (Are you two from the Netherlands?)
Begode Master Shredder in Atlanta. I would love to see an extreme riding video.

Great channel! I just bought a MSP speed she's new, literally been round the block when I get up speed the whole wheel tilts back and the light goes skyward and when I slow the pedals dip when I go walking pace to pedal stay pretty much level ,,, am I missing something? A) I did calibrate it (I think) B) phone was not connected C) only was going maybe 20 kph Maybe it needs calibrate unless I am missing some kind of setting
Thank You
For turning, is there an advantage to body twisting versus leaning the EUC by moving inner foot downwards and outer foot upwards? Even in the video when Kate body twists to turn, she also tilts the EUC inwards. In my case, at slow speeds, I use reverse twisting, mostly arm flailing, to steer, flail arms left to steer right and vice versa. There's a delay in steering with body twisting, that seems like it would be an issue for balance. If already balanced, body twisting is not an issue, but if falling left or right, the initial body twist will increase the lean of the fall even more for a brief moment.
I have not tried going over speed bumps, most of the times it's just me not being confident enough (like before I tried going up or down an inclined). I can probably handle small speed bumps, but here there's no standard lol, some are pretty huge I'll probably try a smaller one just to have a feel
Great tips, now just to get some clear weather to get out. One question, your leatt pads what size did you go for? Many thanks and keep up the great work.

Nice video. Like watching Richard and Judy back in the day, if Richard didn’t hate Judy.
Love the white gear, what helmet? Knee pads?
Hello, I'm 172 cm, 63 Kg. For a 1st EUC, would you recommend the Tesla or Nikola ? I've seen reviews for both. The Tesla seems easier to learn on due to its lighter weight but low foot petals. The Nikola is a lot heavier and bulky, which might have a steeper learning curve, but would be a wheel that one wouldn't outgrow as quick. What are your thoughts for a newbie?
Any specific foot positioning I didn’t hear that might help me? I sort of hug my heels a little tighter in, and push outwards with my toes a little. I try not to have much toe or heel over hang but I think I have a toe grip habit from my board days
Kate is a PRO! ❤️❤️❤️⚡⚡⚡🥰
question, I'm completly new e-rider, 110kg weigh, want to become monowheel rider, I think I would get my mostly city wheel, maybe sometime offroad like park or forrest path but mostly Warsaw city, I think I would get first and my goal monowheel, what would U suggest to interest with? Or maybe wait for those USA monowheel or orther more ideal China units at this moment?
What is the best EUC for beginners

Is it too heavy for me? I am 5’11 a little over 200lbs. Please share a video that might help or any advice would be greatly appreciated. I love roller blading biking scooters. And i am very good at roller blading and thought this would be easy for me. But no matter what i do i cant get it. Please help me. (O and I am 100 percent blind in one eye. But i don’t think that is an issue)
what are these knee pads and where to get? thanks
Thanks for your video pero...I did not understand very well about braking: that you should not throw your hands forward? Fantomas teaches something completely different in her Video "Drag test MSS Wheels" (min 4:00) And it makes sense.

Did Kate first learn to ride an EUC on the larger MSX / Veteran Sherman wheel due to their stability qualities ? And then realize the Tesla was a better choice in terms of control and maneuverability ?

She went from mten3 on the first steps, then msx and a bit sherman to get some more feeling and later on to the tesla as its lighter and less prone to traintracking :)
