    Hi ,Taro. Another great exercise. Thank you. One thing ,perhaps , that might be helpful is to also let folks know to keep the interlaced hands relaxed on not apply and tension or pulling action on the neck ?

    No worries ,Taro san. Lots to remember when doing videos like this. This would be obvious to you and me and why we’d forget mentioning it. Lol. Anyway,thank you for what you do. It is a big help to unlock the body for optimum movement. 🙏😊

    These motions seem similar to the yoga Cat - Cow sequence of moves (www.yogajournal.com/poses/cat-pose). Could you discuss (compare/contrast) how this exercise might differ in purpose and result? Thanks!

    Thanks Jill for asking this question. Yes, the movement looks very similar to cat and cow, however, the intention is different. The intention of this movement is to improve relationship between shoulders and arms and the spine as the functions of shoulders are related to the connection to the spine particularly thoracic spine. By connecting hands on the head and performing cat and cow movements helps your brain recognize those relationships, thus improve functions of shoulders.

    Is it okay if I start to feel tension in my lats when I do this movement?

    if lats restrict your movement, you can do this with your elbows pointing outward
