Nice work, those whole-tone scales in thirds certainly do a lot to bring the piece to life, give it a bit more flavour. At the risk of giving unsolicited advice, I would consider incorporating quartal and quintal harmonies into these compositions. For some reason I feel like you would do well to work with these kinds of colours.

Thanks Cameron. And yes, that's a good idea. I have toyed a little with quartal and quintal harmonies before (for example in this piece: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZqWu8OvdMfcmKQ.html), but I could certainly do more exploration in that area. Maybe I will in a new piece soon!

I’m a huge Borges fan and read the story recently and thought I’d try to capture something of its atmosphere in music. I believe there is a film, but I’ve never seen it.
