@@I_am_ARTBOT I still want to voice my opinion. I have lots of artists friends, friends who are in tech, and many who are in both. They all have excellent reasons for hating this thing. I actually just unfollowed this channel because of this. People care about money, and nothing that uses AI it's getting any of mine. I just hope other people do this too and we just, like, hire actual artists who are unique and talented, rather than an algorithm designed to steal from those people and regurgitate an inferior product.

@@dubitataugustinus I could not agree more. But the sad reality is it's here to stay, unfortunately. I've been a graphics artist in games and video for 35 years and have spent the last few days since watching the Sora demo completely disheartened and depressed. I'm not sure I agree that we can simply choose sides and carry on as though things were normal. I'd love to cancel all the people using AI image gens to do their work for them, but the sad truth is that the end user usually doesn't care. You're obviously an exception, but in general, end users don't care where things originate from, just that they are there for them to consume. Yes, it sucks, but I don't know that we can do anything to stop it.
