I was wondering why our law's enforcers were very reluctant to enforce the law too soft. Just in case if there was an accident between matorcycle and 4 wheels vehicles even the said car were the right position the poor driver suffering his penalties. In my point of view, we must change the traffic rules, so that the people will be descipline and awareness.

They love sitting on the corner of every busy intersection, just to make sure no one can make it through the green light 🤦‍♂️ Then when you ticket them, they say you're picking on them and they just stopped for a moment to pickup a passenger.. Even though you watched them from the end of the road and saw that they really have no intention of moving through the light 🤦‍♂️

As much as I feel bad for what jeepney drivers are going through with rising fuel costs, it makes it harder to root for them as it does not seem like they give any thought about other motorists they're inconveniencing and even their passengers who just wants to not be late at work. Anyways, thanks for the response and please continue making these videos. You're already doing more for the public than some of our publicly elected officials.

It’s too bad that you don’t have the kind of tow trucks that we have in the USA. The driver doesn’t even need to get out. He just needs to get close enough, at any angle with the vehicle, and he can grab it and lift and drive off.

The Philippines has those kinds of tow trucks. I just saw one of those last week. It was in Baguio City where I saw one. I presume it is owned by the city since it has city markings. And yes, I’m wondering why the MMDA doesn’t use them. Cost maybe?

The tow trucks you see in clearing operations are privately owned and operated, by accredited tow operators. MMDA actually owns some modern tow trucks, similar to what you see in the U.S. - but they're pretty much only used for emergency purposes, like removing stalled or crashed vehicles from major highways like EDSA. There are ongoing discussions about modernizing the private tow trucks, as part of their accreditation requirements.

Agree! Before you buy a car, be sure you have somewhere legal to park it. Likewise, before buying a motorcycle, be sure to have a valid license first.

Here in the Philippines, we sell a lot of cars, but we are not asking where they will park the car. Background check needs to be implemented here so we can lessen the private cars.

Try passing by daily around noon at Scout Chuatoco St QC and you will be surprised with how many people will be ticketed! There is often congestions in the intersections because the 4 lane street becomes a 2 lane street. I though Mabuhay lanes would be maintained to be freed up to free up traffic!

Could you please cover I. Delos Reyes Street inside UP Diliman. I believe it is still covered by the "no parking reservation" rule in QC. The UP admin generally allows one sided parking there but the thing is, residents are putting up signs to "reserve" parking slots so the space can't be used efficiently. Had to consult with the Barangay UP Campus office but unfortunately they have done nothing effective about it. I (an alumnus) once had to argue with a resident because I would like to use the space they "reserved" for themselves during my visit in the university.

City planners should go to The Netherlands. The sidewalks there are being widened for pedestrians and bicycles and the road lanes are being narrowed so they solved the traffic there. DDecker buses should also be re-introduced here in the Philippines! And heavily tinted windows should and must not be allowed.

There problem with your plan is that city planners in the Netherlands only have to deal with 17million people in an area of 42,000sq. km. They’d fail even more miserably than Filipino city planners, who have to deal with 14million people in an area of 636sq. km.

LTO and IAct should do an operation for vehicles without proper plate number…a lot of vehicles even older ones are still using conduction sticker number as plate number…

Many drivers are still swapping between their real plate and the temporary plate, to avoid coding.

Even tough I like this MMDA content, I have to agree that he needs to change the name of all his accounts to something more related to Traffic here in the Philippines, since he no longer post anything about gadgets.

Lagi ko pinapanuod mga videos na to. Pero may napansin ako sa towing crew, pag bago yung sasakyan ang bilis magkabit pag luma matagal bago nila ikabit yung pang tow nila. Kase mas mataas yung chance na tutubusin agad?

@gadgetaddict maybe one day show how much each of the towed vehicle was charged, so people can see the actual cost of each violation.

I hope they also issue a ticket to a person who chose to walk in the road even the side walk is clear.

MMDA should do a sweep of East Pasig roads. There's a lot of NO PARKING signs being neglected all around the area. Officers would probably run out of tickets in just a few hours of roving the streets.

Look at Baclaran LRT for example, where the kagawad strangled a member of the MMDA clearing team. It's the Barangay chairman himself that asked the DILG to let the vendors stay there. That's why it's hard to see a lasting improvement, because the LGU wants.those vendors to be there. Who's the first person that called and tried to prevent the MMDA from impounding colorum e-trikes? Another barangay chairman. Who's the one that called and tried to prevent the impounding of the colorum vans in Baclaran... A retired.. That's how it is unfortunately.

How can we report complaints for obstruction by the barangay?

The MMDA should really put up more signs and which shows the amount of fines... So many arrogant drivers and riders, blatantly ignoring proper road rules, especially on commonwealth in which many still get away Barangay Commonwealth, guilty as well, have pix of them parked in the bike lane... Of courses letting their friends park anywhere on commonwealth and not being professional

they can not buy or purchase w/o license the dealer should be liable if they sell the bike w/o license and before they release they should have a proof of insurance just like in U S A no license no insurance cant get a car andfregistration should be under their name its a simple solution

We should all be responsible to find a legal parking spot for our cars. What I did is I found a parking lot for rent even before I got my car, No problem for me.

That's the best way. It's tiring to hear owners of cars or motorcycles acting like it's the fault of the MMDA that they don't have a parking space. Why not find a parking space BEFORE buying the vehicle? 🤦‍♂️ There's many empty lots that were converted to paid parking. So even if you don't have a garage, there are options, as long as you're willing to pay.

Rather than signs saying no parki.g why dont they use road markings like other countries?

Ran away from enforcers, no license, should have been jailed and motorcycle confiscated permanently.

lol 🙈 Usually I hear them say "diyan lang" of something similar. But yeah, usually from the pointing alone, you have an indication that they MIGHT be a member of DILAG. If I don't hear it myself, I usually ask the enforcer. And most of the time, it's either diyan lang or dito lang

Pag ba bumili ng sasakyan kahit 2nd hand hindi na titingnan kung may lisensya?

What i cannot fathom with these riders is that, they can buy a P100k+ motorcycle but can't buy a decent P2-4k helmet🙄 i have always seen this nutshell/bicycle/skater/e. scooter helmet in most metropolis roads.
