Trapper is an interesting beast. As the sort of mascot character for the game, he's usually the one that survivors deal with the most. Yet... he can still surprise you. Basement Trapper, Endgame Trapper... there are so many flavors you can do. Survivors can either roll on Trapper, or get rolled on by him with no chance. Me, I do a Basement Trapper with Iron Grasp, Agitation, Monstrous Shrine, and Thanatophobia. SWF's absolutely PANIC when they see Monstrous Shrine active, calling on their friends to come get them as soon as possible, which, of course, is difficult when a Trapper traps up the basement.

I just did wraith with that exact build except I used forced penance so they couldn’t heal for 80sc (I got three protection hits too, so only one person could safely get the save 😂😂)

@@stargazer5822 @Agaroth If I can, Trapper Sack and Iri Stone, to place and carry around more traps to where the basement is and to have them reset on their own so I can focus on bringing people to the basement. The name of the game is to make it almost impossible for them to get out once they get down there. Against singles, this isn't that good, though Thana does impose that injury penalty as long as someone is in the basement, which can encourage rescues. On SWF's, they panic. More people come to the basement, which can result in complete cluster-mess ups of situations for the survivors. Hence why I need Iri, so even if they do some prep for escape, it can just reset on its own. If I don't have Iri, then either Tension Spring or Secondary spring. Again, reset, or to make them take longer. They're at the basement, so extra time while Monstrous Shrine is active works in your favor. They may not make it before phase 2 if they're way too cautious.

When i played killer for the first time I couldn't even hook one person but because of that pink addon which lead them into dying state after being trapped got me 4 entity kills and i couldn't stop laughing

Great build, great video... I am new, and I suck. I am 52 years old with slow reflexes. I am not great at any video game, but I still really love them even if I am mediocre at best.... However... Leaving traps by generators, by common path ways and choke points works well to slow them down... I also heavily trap both exit gates... I will chase them if I happen to run across them while out setting and picking up traps. I have had all 4 survivors leave one trapped gate just to come to the other side of the map as I laid even more traps on that side. I had all 4 survivors trapped. I hooked 2 and slugged two and just set more traps... SOmetimes cunning and preparation is as good as skill and situational awareness.

Finally someone using blood warden and no way out together!!!! Love your videos they are always entertaining to watch.

I'm yet to actually try it as I've been preoccupied with the new horizon game- but I think using the purple coil addon could be bloody nasty at the endgame. The survivors disarm the exit gate trap, letting you know what one they're at, and then immediately 2seconds later it re-arms itself and they get trapped in it. The ONLY way around that I can think of is having a teammate stand by the gate to hold the trap open/free them while ALSO having another teammate distracting the killer. This is just a theory tho so as I said, it'll have to be tested, but I think if it goes as I think then it'll be dc worthy!

Love watching him play. The most well thought out killer out there

I actually came across a Wraith that had this exact build. I play solo, and I am not toxic so I found it hilarious when we were all stuck at the exit gates because of blood warden. It was a streamer and I went into his chat after to say GG. He actually told me he would have let me go because he knew I wasn’t part of the toxicity but the hatch and gates were both not available. It’s all in good fun!

Reminds me of a match I had the other day where a trickster killed everyone else, caught me at the gate, then just stood there watching me for the whole time we waited out NWO. I think he was hoping the collapse timer would kill me.

I enjoy engame build on Trapper a lot, i'm recently trying the same noed and no way out with a hex by choice with Pentimento. Is a lot of fun, i've been tryng to max the tokens on pentimento to block all the totems but is pretty hard to do XD

Just a Tipp: if a survivor jumps from Smt and dont scream, he has Balanced Landing but if he screams than he dont

I think this is the build that forces them to die to end-game collapse. If you race to open the gate as soon as they are at 1 gen, they end up on a clock where they have only 20 seconds to open the gate or they all die. Which is where traps come in.

it might've been not the case that they didnt see a trap in first game...but rather they aimed poorly and instead of pressing [M1] for "disarm trap" they pressed for "open gate" and got sucked right into the trap :)

love the fact that you didn't need bloodwarden

With Remeber Me and Pentimento you get almost a whole minute of opening the gate

+ No way out, plus guarding one gate with the door open so they are pressured into opening the other gate, + Blood Warden if a greedy ass survivor tries to bypass you

I outran a trapper the other day with this exact build. He chased me through the entire map and called me an exploiting zoomer lol when I was just using pallets and windows. He really wanted that blood warden but I didnt let him have it.

Nice build and video The END GAME dose not show mercy

thats a good video that shows that the devs have to buff Bloodwarden. You picked it in a endgame built and you didnt use it once. Here they didnt open the gate because of no way out and remember me but in a normal match where you dont have this perks and only Bw they just 99 the Gates and then Bw is useless as well.

Using trapper on iridescent rank makes sense. I can only imagine how many useless toxic survivors cry when they vault a window and get caught in a trap or try and run you at a pallet and fall in one lol

Dude exit gate trapper…disarm that trap. Look down. Also always be careful of those indoor window traps I’d never vault into windows playing against a trapper

A little late and sorry for my English. When you do a hit the survivor gets a speed that makes a distance from the killer. Sometimes you don't want to waste time persusing. And when you do a hit they need to heal and that cost time for them. Is just the style of this player

Game one, they try to wait for you lol. I’d run.

I don't play DBD but I never understood the term gen rushing and how it's toxic. Isn't that what survivors are supposed to do to win? I mean if they're gen rushing are you kill rushing?
