I must admit, I turned the sound off. I would much rather hear the sounds of manufacture than that awful racket.

What wood did you use please ? Lovely small gift idea.

I love the idea, I know some engineers at work and can get some ball bearings of different sizes. I am going to definitely try this next week...Can you list the size of ball/drill bit you used? Will make it easier before I trial and error this. Also, how did you finish it at end, I see you wiping it, danish oil? wax? Wondering if possible to get some top coats to make it glossy but would have to be after ball is already in 🤔

Ball bearing 13mm,drill bit for wood 11mm.I think 9 or 10mm drill bit would work too.I use linseed oil to finish it up.

Where could I buy one? This is a great alternative to a fidget toy.

What are the overall dimensions of the piece when you finished.
