I don't seem to be able to launch my app for capture from qrenderdoc. When I click launch, I am presented with a dialog telling me about an error, and the process tab does not appear.

How to remove the error that pops up in blender when loading capture? Error: Failed to load the RenderDoc Module

I don't know how you do it, but I can't, the chrome shortcut doesn't generate any code, I've been trying for an hour... I don't know if it's the code that I can't copy properly, but in any case if I copy the example code, it doesn't work for me. I'd appreciate some help. I'd used another procedure before, and this one seemed simpler.

When i click inject, i get an error that couldnt inject... the diagnostic log says .Core 45784 12:10:43 win32_process.cpp(295) Error Couldn't allocate remote memory for DLL 'C:\Program Files\RenderDoc enderdoc.dll': 5 Core 45784 12:10:43 win32_process.cpp(327) Error Couldn't create toolhelp dump of modules in process 45720 Core 45784 12:10:43 win32_process.cpp(947) Error Can't locate renderdoc.dll in remote PID 45720 I have tried different renderdoc and blender versions, I have tried with edge instead of chrome, still same problem. If anyone has had this and solve it I would really appreciate if you could share how to do it. Thanks

i am getting error " API: D3D12 (NOT PRESENTING)"

this worked great but one issue is that im trying to make a detailed 3d print of a whole city so when i zoom out in google earth the lod goes down and so does the file i capture how would i be able to view a large area with it being the highest lod in google earth i fixed it... mostly ill have to splice it together with massive scans didnt realise google earth had settings

API says none and the capture frames button is greyed out. I dont get debug text in chrome at the top but I do see a message that says, "you are using an unsupported command-line flag: --disable-gpu - sandbox. Stability and security will suffer" I've triple checked that I dont have a typo in the chrome shortcut but thats the only thing I can think of. Any one run into this or have any ideas?

Found it... I had graphics acceleration disabled in my chrome settings

After I inject into the process with the PID, Chrome will change the port every single time. I will inject it and the click ok on the chrome popup, but then immediately a new popup will appear with a new PID. If I do not try injecting the PID will stay the same, but I need to inject before I click ok otherwise this wont work. No matter what I do Chrome wont let me inject into the PID. Has anyone else had this issue?

I also noticed Chrome has a message after opening saying the "--disable-gpu-sandbox" in the after code is an unsupported command line flag, and also that security and stability will suffer. Not sure though if that is something causing anything, or if it's just Google Chrome warning about you not using their default version.

@@nani-dy5mt Yep I was able to fix it. Turns out the chrome shortcut code in the video must be old or faulty. Use the code provided in the git link for the blender plugin. It is the correct code.

Hello, no way it works. When i try to change the google Path from the shortcut nothing happen. I try everything. I think mainly the problem comes from the fact i don't have any google application in c\ Program File (x86) but i only have one in c\ Program .... So i can't try this manipulation without google chrome.. Super sad. I even try with google close.

Target code change every time you open chrome. The code is unique for every chrome instance

I don't think he means the PID injection code but the Chrome shortcut edits to get it to wait for the code. I'm having the same issue where I can see the window pop up for a split second, then Chrome just launches anyway. @arashshaygani1966 edit - figured it out: Make sure *all* Chrome windows are closed, and *all* Chrome processes are ended. I closed all my browser windows but still have a bunch of Chrome processes running in the background (thanks Google). After I made sure all Chrome processes were gone opening the edited shortcut worked to bring up the PID.

Arch viz, you should stop pretending that your updates are new. The main thing you are talking about is 3ds max. If that is the case, why can't you connect directly to 3ds max? When I create the shortcut and make the changes that were mentioned in the video, it just opens Google Chrome normally, did I do something wrong? Here is the code next to it: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c "SET RENDERDOC_HOOK_EGL=0 && START "" ^"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe^" --disable-gpu-sandbox --gpu-startup-dialog"

You have to close all chrome windows and only after that start that shortcut. It's worked for me.
