Doc I am from. Philippines and my doctor said here in saudi arabia recommend me rib cartilage please... Honest answer doc how many days pain and hard to breath recovery of pain from removing rib?

Hi @MariamDj Depending on the skill and experience of the rhinoplasty surgeon, removing the rib can have varying levels of discomfort. I use a 1 centimeter incision with minimal dissection, so most of my patients don't need pain medication after one day. I've seen other surgeons use 3-5 cm incisions, and these patients will typically have longer discomfort.

The experience and expertise of the surgeon will be the most important factor in the final aesthetic result. Ear cartilage or rib cartilage are merely building blocks for the surgeon to use.
