THE STORY SO FAR: > In EX-03, the ancient evil Red/Purple Imperialdramon was unsealed and sought to eliminate all other Dragon-species Digimon. To stop it, the server's central computer resurrected Hina and the Linkz Dragons from the lost data of Digimon Linkz. The plan was successful, but the energy required for such a feat produced cracks in the space-time continuum, resulting in an outbreak of dimensional phases. > In BT-11, the dimensional phase outbreak brought villains such as Analogman, Galacticmon and Bagra Army from other worlds/servers. Fortunately, Tamers of justice (or at least neutrality) leaked in as well and they helped to fight the villains. However, other than Yuuya and BlackWarGreymon X, the others weren't very successful. Seeking reinforcements, the central computer sent out an interdimensional SOS signal which reached Ai, Mako and Impmon. Unfortunately, they lost to Analogman who abducted Mako and later defeated Yuuya. With no one standing in his way, he hijacked the server and claimed it as his own. > Now in BT-12... Right before Analogman hijacked all the systems, the central computer's final emergency protocol was triggered, sending SOS signals to heroes across time and space. These heroes have now gathered to do battle, and the strongest will be tasked with the mission of reclaiming the server from Analogman. Among those heroes are Ai and Impmon who have gained a new power, eager and determined to prove their strength and save Mako...

@Confusing Zark Just a narrative I came up with for my tournaments

"Enough with the mister!" "Let's teach this new kid some manners, Ken!" I chuckled at that. Also Takato just geeking out at Davis and Imperialdramon.

Y'know I never noticed before. But it really is poetic that Imperialdramon and Gallantmon are fighting each other in the first round. If you look at Imperialdramon's artwork, you can actually see him fighting Gallantmon

Can't wait for the rest of this! I love the little dialogue blobs between the characters. If you ask me, I'm rooting for Marcus. I get the feeling the tough guy can take the tournament.

Whenever a Jogress Evolution happens in those matches it's always hype no matter what! I was rooting for the winner of this one and I'm happy that I'll be able to see it again in future matches. This match was really fun as usual, thank you for making them.

I love the energy in the narration and I actually learned a lot from this game dude, keep it up! I'm hyped to see that the Imperialdramon support is still coming again in BT16 with Purple Green and Blue Red duel color rookies and champs. I'd love to see a mock battle with those cards if possible, especially with the Reviving red purple Dinobee bringing out the double attacking blue green paildramon from the trash to attack some more. Seriously aggressive

The character comments are so fun. As an English dub fan, I enjoy this matchup also because Davis narrated Tamers. Got a little nervous for my boy during that, when Gallantmon had those really hard pushes. But the removal available in this new Imperialdramon line is so strong- I think as evidenced by you running almost none of the previous Imperialdramon cards.

I love these kind of matches where it's anyone's game and how back and forth it is. I also appreciate you Rustmarrow because content like this makes me appreciate and happy I play this game lol

We all Knew this was comming. Right now the guilmon/gallantmon deck is only good because it has a bunch of cards that are only pretty good and really good together. This makes it too inconsistent and if they don't draw a needed piece and they can loose like the rennamon/sakuyamon deck back in bt10. Also nice having the tamers comment durring the match

OH MAN! I so wanted takato to win this match up, but I loved seing the two decks I play facing off, just wished it wasn't this soon

Well, definitely rooting for Marcus next round. I know Beelzemon's got a vengeance thing going on, but c'mon, punching Marcus. In the rounds after that: I'm still not too stoked for the Arresterdramon that doesn't DigiXros or have an on-model Superior Mode, so I'm rooting for Tai; but Quartzmon seems a fun deck, so I'm rooting for it over Takuya. Also, dang Imperialdramon is always a beast, isn't it. Guess that's just natural for anything that evolves on top of a level 6, but man.

You should make a Royal Knights battle we’re you build a deck for each royal knight and have them battle it out.

Yea after looking at and thinking about all the effects, I don't think there's much reason to mix. Bandai wasn't really thinking about supporting the old playstyle I feel

Sad gallantmon couldn't take it like in EX2, but can say the new support is really nice. Happy we have a line that does not rely on deleting digimon. Wish the new searcher had a better effect though. Cause outside of playing 7 takatos. It will rarely come up. Will say though thanks to this list, will likely play less of the new searcher and play more x antibody line for draws.

The deck really needs the draws, and there is some sick synergy between the new line and X antibody line too. During playtesting, I made quite a few 12k WarGrowl Xs that gain 2 Memory back after attacking which can enable Gallant X unsuspends without ending your turn to go into Crimson for sudden game

Great match! However I’m very confused about the attack and digivolving rules. So dinobeemon was able to declare an attack on gallantmon and THEN digivolve again and take advantage of the new DP/old effects to destroy him? I thought once you attack you resolve it and can’t digivolve unless it’s before or after.

Normally, you can't evolve mid-attack but some effects allow you to do so. In this case, it was the new BT12 Davis. Several other such effects exist such as the whole X-Antibody mechanic

Sorta spoilers here so if people want none, look away. I love the comments between the tamers and the decks there. I am interested to see what other things will happen. I don't think you need much of a reason for Gallantmon to dip into darkness again though by the time EX04 is around lol.

Oh man, guess we're starting to see the EX-04 storyline forming...

(SPOILER) Yooo! Davis is really underrated as a leader. It was nice to see him get some respect by besting the golden boy.

Awesome fight gotta love that Jogress evolution vs Bio merge but in the end the team Work of Davis & Ken rains supreme in this battle tho Gallantmon & Takato had a impressive start to the battle. Amazing job Rustmarrow I love the Animations you put into these battles of yours there so ace 😎😎. Kind regards AuraKnight I gotta Ask tho why aren’t you the original Davis card? Just curious & why only one Paladin mode?

Personally I feel the deck has enough searchers already and doesn't necessarily need a Memory setter. And since the new Davis is extremely vital to bring out the potential of the new cards, I favoured him over the old one. I slotted in Ken to be a search target for Wormmon while also having combo potential with the new support (like you saw in their final move this match). I chose him over Davis & Ken bcos Davis & Ken's 2nd effect is made less attractive by the new Imperial effects, and their 1st effect usually only applies once I've set up, and I need the Memory before not after. The new cards kinda make Paladin Mode a bit obsolete. I put in 1 as my trump just in case but honestly the new Fighter Mode does more.

When jorgessing into Dinobeemon, wasn't Exveemon supposed to be sent to the bottom of the sources rather than the top as otherwise you could only digiviolve into Paildramon?

Nope. Strangely enough, this Dinobeemon's DNA condition is Blue Lv.4 + Green Lv.4 (even though it's Green/Blue), so Blue goes on top

Don't think so, Bandai haven't mentioned anything about it. It's just card design I believe. There's no rule that says the DNA components must follow the order of the evolved form, that's just been the typical pattern so far

This video hyped me so much for this set. Both decks looks really cool to play and have multiple options of building. In the start i thought 4 sure that Takato would win because of the turn 2 lethal setup. But Davis and Ken showed how their relationship is so strong, they are soooo gay >.< Super happy with th winner because 02 is my fav season!
