@TheReal.., you're right! Ayinla Omowura's music was "unorthodox", he music was outstandingly different, he was revolutionary, his style was futuristic and you wonuldn't find his style of music those days. He was original and innovative. In fact, I found Ayinla Omowura's music of the 70s closer to contemporary "Fuji" than those played by of Barrister and Kollington in the 70s.

As far as I'm concern, I respect Barrister for his him but he's also one of the most controversial artists as well. I also believe Ayinla Omowura's music (Apala or not) is that foundation in which modern Fuji is built.

Kelly.., Apala music was virtually renamed Fuji. The legends of Apala music, now Fuji are Haruna Ishola & Ayinla Omowura . With due respect to Barrister, who I believe is a legend as well, he only renamed Apala to Fuji, the main transformers of Apala/Fuji in my opinion are Kollington and Wasiu Ayinde who introduced bata/ jazz and classical fuji respectively. H Ishola and A Omoruwa are the early legends of Fuji and they remain so.

@TheReal..., give me a break. I won't go into that you know what these controversies are if not you wouldn't want to "educate" yourself about it.

@TheReal, I honest wouldn't be dragged into it. The truth is this- in Ayinla Omowura's short life, he released hit up hit. He was respected all over Nigeria and people still make references to his songs. I won't condescend into calling anyone names. The world knows Barrister is controversial!

You sound quite contended with Osupa and Obesere disrespecting K1 even as you as you say it was wrong for K1 "riducule" Barrister. Are you trying to say two wrongs can make a right?

Your analysis is biased and subjective. He didn't need to call Kollington 'stupid' Present what you think is true and live to readers to conclude. Abusive word makes non sense of your explanation really
