What a blessing. Solid teaching. This is so good. When I was first slain in The Holy Ghost I didn’t know how to respond. I just remember thinking God why are you doing this? It’s so Wonderful. But I didn’t know how to turn off my brain. Finally I just surrendered. And when I did it was the most powerful, and peaceful experience in my life. Before you know it I’m bold as a lion! And God gave me discernment that I have never known! And my prayer life was lit on fire! Soooo good. So amazing. Lastly I began to hunger and thirst for the Word of God! Glory!!!

I remember speaking in tongues for the first time and it was such an amazing experience but I had no clue it was a thing in Christianity haha I was a baby believer so it was cool to see it was a thing. Years later I had an encounter with Holy Spirit where I was laughing for a day straight and then crying and it was amazing but embarrassing at church I later found out that wasn’t unusual either

The Apostle Paul never shamed anyone for not speaking in tongues, but had the ability to impart. Where I attend church they speak in tongues, boast about it, and shame others, but can't impart. If you have what Paul had (ability to impart with humility), pray for me that I can have the same.

Literally, I heard a pastor tell someone, "shame on you for not having the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues" (and this coming from a morbidly obese man). Currently, I've been attending a church where the pastor doesn't believe I'm saved because of not having the evidence of tongues. I'm mature enough in the faith that his doctrine can't harm me, but I feel sorry for a new believer in his Church that doesn't get the gift of tongues right away, fearing that he may accidentally do them harm. @@cherokeepurple4480

Thank you this was good! I read this and wonder why no one at church has ever laid hands on me. I ask the preacher last Sunday if he would lay hands and pray for me he said for what. I said for fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit. Idk it was if though he didn't understand. I felt a lil embarrassed thinking I should not of ask him to do that

@@melaniemartin730 Great question, simply it is to strengthen, increase and/or bless what God is doing or is going to do in a believers life. Apostle Paul talks about, in Romans 1:11, "For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you-" The gifts of the Spirit are to help us as believers fulfill and respond to the call of God on our lives as we follow Him! It's a beautiful thing we can seek God for and know He desires to impart and give us more of Him!

Randy you prayed ovver me many years ago at a conference at TACF.. you prayed over three of us wimen. You called us out as a prophet. I hsd the cassette tape. You said when your dreams and visions i creade contact u.. i was fairly new then. I had a major life of dreamscand visions etc. siince yhem i haf back slid. I was still in teaing though. Its been a very long rosd. I had to lraen so much about the prophetic. You compared me to Jeremiah the weeping proohet. i beolieve im about to walk unto that prophecy.soon. thstcwascwell over 29 yrs ago. Im learningvas i go. That it dorsnt mean right away

My first time skain in the soirit hoky Ghost and soike in tongues i thought these oeope are weitd and i wanted to leave scared me a bit new exoerience .didnt stend church in childhood. I made that decision at 28 yrs old and read the bilnle.once i read about the apostkes i understiod nyself for the first time. I exoerienced so much outside of church. Then when i went to church and read the word i started to understand ny experiences

Great explanation of being anointed by the Spirit. Totally opposite of what I was taught and most everyone I know. Eye opening. But now to actually experience it🤓
