In my country such bill existed dozen of dozen years...
There’s to many families all over the country destroyed and impacted, by terrible policies and politicians. Far wider spread damage than drunk drivers.

What happens if i got a DUI 5 years ago (no injurys or damage, just pulled over and blew over .08). So i have to install a breathalyzer now? Ive changed my life and dont even drink anymore do i still have to install it? Those things cost $2500/year... thats more than my car insurance (who which doesnt even consider me a high risk driver anymore)
What about corrupt politicians at any level?
Will never work and only make things worse. How Many years have we pleaded for harder penalties? You guys don't get it, unfortunately this is a problem that will never go away.
Impaired driving should be automatic jail and life long loss of driving privileges.
Just drive in Brampton, the capital of car accidents in Ontario. Today worse drivers are those who got their licenses in exchange of small fee, yet never drove a car.
