Impact of Browns possible stadium move out of Cleveland to Brook Park

Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam say the team is down to two options when it comes to their future stadium site: a $1 billion dollar renovation to their existing stadium, or a domed stadium outside of the city at double the cost.
The Haslams addressed the stadium situation and other team matters Monday while in Orlando at the NFL Owners Meetings. They added that neither option is better than the other at this point.
One of the key points the duo confirmed is that they do have an option to purchase 176 acres of land in Brook Park not far from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. That story was first reported by Ken Prendergast of NEOTrans blog in early February.
In response to the Brook Park speculation last month, the team confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that they were looking at additional sites in Northeast Ohio to build a new stadium in addition to efforts to get a renovation deal done for Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Also last month, two Cleveland City Councilmembers told Signal Cleveland's Nick Castele that the Browns proposed a 50-50 split on a billion-dollar stadium renovation project, with state and local governments picking up upwards of $500 million, during a round of meetings last October.

But truth if you host a Super bowl every so many seasons it's worth the investment a two week super bowl every 5 to 10 yrs benefits the entire region also stadium construction does create thousands of jobs which goes right back to the local tax base if I pay thousands for season tickets and parking I want my team to play in the best facility possible so I can feel proud about my team

You're not going to get a Super Bowl once every 5-10 years. The NFL doesn't like to go to cold weather cities because of travel difficulties that could ensue, plus the Cleveland area lacks hotels, transit, and other infrastructure to host the Super Bowl. Some of that might be mitigated by whatever else the Haslams build on the 176 acres, but the bottom line is, if Cleveland gets a Super Bowl it will be 1 and done.

Just like Minneapolis, they hosted one Super Bowl and it doesn’t look like they’ll be hosting another one.

Buffalo's new stadium is costing 2.4 billion, with no dome. Not sure where you're getting four billion from.
