Thank you for presenting this info on immunotherapy, really appreciate the updated clinical data on this form of treatment. I am diagnosed with squamous cell cancer in the scalp which metastasized to my lymph nodes. Due to critically low neutrophil counts, my oncologist is going to treat with immunotherapy instead. My neutrophil counts are too low to tolerate chemo. I wish my oncologist started with immunotherapy versus surgery first. It's going on 4 months and I still have not had the surgery to remove the parotid gland and lymph nodes. I had a hysterectomy, in that 4 month period, to remove suspicious 15 cm mass which ended up being diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma stage 1b. Even with the hysterectomy, 4 months to get neck surgery is ridiculous especially when the ENT oncologist knows I have cancer in the affected lymph nodes. Now I can see why so many people die from cancer.

Can chemo to head n neck injury a vessel in your brain? A friend had one chemo n got deadly sick so they switched to radiation. After radiation he came out cancer then 1.5 months later he had a brain bleed n died. Was this caused from the cancer treatment? They did an mri n found it was not a stroke or a tumor. They said caused by stress or age? The bleed was deep in the brain between the two lobes.
