Brubaker brought the same magic he put into Captain America into this run of Iron Fist. This is easily the definitive modern run of Iron Fist and builds that world out so amazingly. The rich history of the IF mantle and all the previous fists that came before Danny could easily be a whole series of their own. Hopefully someday we’ll see more of those stories fleshed out. I’m going with the standard cover for this day one purchase.

They added the I am An Avenger story? I remember when you asked if they could. That is so freaking awesome. Makes this book perfect.

I have the original omnibus released in 2009, but I'm getting this expanded version as well. Both covers, too! Haha! I'm a huge Iron Fist fan, and we don't get many Iron Fist books, much less omnibuses. I love this run so much. I've read it about 3x and I plan on reading it again. I missed out on the original Omnibus, so I’m so excited to get this new expanded version!

David Aja art is pure perfection. For me, it was love at first sight.

Mine's on order (#1 cover) - one of my favorite superhero series of the last 20 years or so - can't wait to get into it again!

Going into this one completely blind, I was going to buy the 1st printing a while ago but when they announced this and I seen it was expanded on I was glad I waited. I’ve only ever seen the Iron Fist show and have never read anything of the character before so I’m pretty excited for this to be in my collection!

I loved the first couple of trades but didn't read any more so I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of the story!

Absolutely beautiful! I would've preferred the #6 cover used in the Complete Collection paperback, or the Immortal Weapons Aja trade cover, but that's essentially the only nitpick I have. Best Iron Fist run, one of the best comics of its decade, well collected, it's like a dream.

Thanks Omar! I love how much care and intentional Marvel has been with the mapping in these Omnibus. It makes me look forward to seeing what they do with future omnibus if this will be the standard going forward.

"If there's still time, please add Marvel Team-Up #31, Marvel Two-In-One #25, and Deadly Hands of Kung Fu King-Size Annual #1 as all three stories are part of Danny's early years in the Marvel Universe. The team up with Shang-Chi is especially important as it's part of the Search for Colleen Wing storyline that runs through Marvel Premiere #25 and Iron Fist #1-7." Can't skip the first meeting of Mr. Rand and Mr. Parker!

Only Omar can convince me to get an Omni for a character that I really have no affinity for. But I do love quality storytelling, And it seems like this Omni has it. Thanks dude!

I just finished this Omni. I gotta say it was really awesome! Orson looks really cool with his guns. I enjoyed the mapping to this book! It was a super fun read. Highly recommended. I’m reading Savage Avengers next.

Easily yes, they expanded this edition in every sense of the term. Duane's run doesn't hit the same highs as Brubaker/Fraction, but it stands alone as a very good series on its own.

Hey Omar I'm loving all of these upcoming releases. However...... I can only afford one Omni this week. I need help deciding since I've read none of them..... Spider-verse spider-geddon? Guardians? Or Iron fist? Any help or guidance is always appreciated brother.

Is The Immortal Weapons collected anywhere else? I purchased original omnibus years ago and wanted to just get the extra material. I really did not want to purchase this just to get a few more issues.

Dang Omar. I wasn't planning on picking this up. Then I watched your video. Maybe you should look into a career as a car salesman.

It’s too bad they added the extra stuff for this printing. Sometimes less is more. This book just doesn’t end well and would have been much better as a straight reprint. I’ll pass on this and wait for a Modern Epic Collection. Or maybe some people will dump the first printing at a low cost now that this “more complete” version is out.

@@NearMintCondition sure, if it improves the overall package. But adding content "just to add content" can bring the entire package down if the added content isn't as good.

I would have loved a book about historical kung-fu adventurers with that art style....But just another modern story doesn't excite me nearly as much.
