I agree with you, Come what may is the first track to give me legitimate goosebumps since Guide Us Home by Currents was released. Come what may is an easy 9.5/10 on an album that has a few other tracks that I’d consider in the 8.8-9.2ish range.

You're absolutely right, all artists do this - But if we take a moment to consider WHY it gets mentioned so much with Imminence, it's not JUST that he's singing the title like "every single band/artist, it's because of the formula that they do it in. The long slow scream, and it does get boring. With that said, every time Drew took the piss in the cartoon voice I fucking lost my shit laughing.

Imminence just sadly has pretty mid lyrics so the constant repeating of the song title just sticks out even more. I absolutely love them but the lyrics aren’t up to par with how good everything else is.

If people genuinely don’t like songs just because it has the title of the song as a lyric then surely they must hate most music. Plus people grilling Imminence for their song structure being simple, yet most metalcore follow the same sort of “simple” structure i don’t get why imminence get stick for these things yet it’s a universal thing

Probably going to be album of the year, going to be hard to top this. 8.8/10 for me-fantastic album.

the second part of the album is a masterpiece, it just feels so epic. been screaming Come What May on repeat since it's been released

Man I didn't even know singing the title of the track in a chorus was even a thing, until Imminence became popular. And just because Metal Birb said it once (I like him though), everyone seems to follow this stance now. I mean, that's the case in most of the music industry (and any genre) ???

I agree, feels like 90% of songs had the title in the song, often in pre-chorus/chorus. But I guess it's like when someone says: "Doesn't that guy chew a bit loud" and then everybody hears it.

Yeah but what's annoying me is that 95% of songs that exist on planet earth are like this. Somehow, we only hear this argument when it comes to Imminence. Nobody ever said a thing about Numb from LP or even Billie Jean from MJ. And besides, when a song is musically good, why the f* would it matter to hear the track title in the chorus ?

Death by a Thousand Cuts and Come What May are so fuckin good. Whole album is incredible.

soooo much good music has come out recently! Like moths to flames' newest single absolutely slaps, Aphasia's singles have been amazing, Harroway's singles are great, and Driveways too!

9.8 imo and i dont usually rate albums that high its easily the best album since heavener and i dont see how anyone can argue otherwise

I’m glad i went into this album having only listened to the first 3 singles and not the others because if i had it would be as if i’m listening to a short EP with the unreleased songs. Also imminence need to stop releasing the last track as a single because they did the same thing with heaven in hiding and was not a good idea. I know technically they didn’t do with this album but it’s still the same since the last track is a nice instrumental

I don't get it either. I just listened to Born of Osiris - A Mind Short Circuting, and they repeated the title repeatedly and no one gives a sh**... its still good. Same with Imminence. I love their music and so far this album is my favorite. I love everything on it. Not meaning to compare those two bands to each other. Everybody does it and for some reason people pick on Imminence.

Btw metalbirb sets the qorld on fire by saying that. And people hated him for saying that in full arrogant. The song after he was speaking about this is what i needed from imminence. He was my first and fav reactor. Tgod there are many more now. Fuck him!😊

Loved the album! The lyrics though... seem a bit immature and edgy 😅

I love the heavyer side of this album especially beyond the pale, come what may anf the call of the void. Theses three are so insanely good. I dislike that there are 3 instrumentals/interludes, one would have been enough(at least they are really well done). Solid 8-8.5/10 would have been a 10 if there was only one interlude. And for some reason i ding like continuum even though a lot of people seem to move it.

I really dislike when bands release a half of an album with singles and then release the album with other half being 3 interludes and 3 songs, it kinda breaks the intrigue imo. Overall a very good album, it has some good, some boring songs. I think Continuum is by far my favorite. But the album is not 10/10, it is 8.5/10

I agree, I feel it takes alot of the momentum away from the full album release. No doubt some marketing guru has been paid millions to come up with the idea, but for me I'd rather they just release one or two songs with a big enough gap between them and then drop the album.

People don't buy albums anymore, so bands have to adjust.

Lyrics are generic, it’s just Architects’ All Our Gods Vol. 2, with violin. I’ll take this to my grave. Boring as fuck.
