Imminence's new stuff is giving me the same vibes I got when I listened to Kingdom of Giant's new album last year... I was a fan of their previous music and always thought they were good, but the new music has quickly made them top tier and instantly one of my favorites.

To answer your question at the start Eddie does often play violin and sing/scream live. He is insanely talented (as are the other guys in the band).

The lead singer is also a video director.

I'll see them live in February when they tour through europe and i am so god damn hyped already

You guys should definitely check out their behind the scenes videos for Temptation and Heaven in hiding if you haven't! Also don't know if you've noticed but all three songs music videos correlate with a storyline. Can't wait to see what else this band has in store!

I can't think of many Imminence tracks where scream overlaps violin. On YT if you search their "Studio Mega" recordings they have live footage of what Eddie does on songs like Infectious.

@@jordrl66 that studio mega recording is great. I wanna say Temptation has overlapping screams and violin. But they don't have a live version out there yet so we'll have to wait and see how he does it

Another Swedish band I like is Smash Into Pieces. They’re alternative rock, but the vocalist is not your average voice. I think you guys might like “Broken Parts” or “Glow in the Dark.” Their music videos all tie in together, like chapters in a book. They tell a story about Arcadia, a futuristic world being controlled by S4Y (“the organic CPU with incredible AI capacity”) and the citizens’ fight to overpower them.

Johnny it’s like you’re in my brain, 10 seconds before you spoke of theatrics and how big it feels I was thinking the same thing, almost opera like 🔥

This is very Temptation style. Very similar layout. Which is awesome. They bring a freshness yet harshness that is very difficult to beat. Great video.
