You could start easy with a few good documentaries like "The Shock Doctrine" & "Four Horsemen". Look for docus that cite their research, watch stuff that white people don't normally watch. History is written by the winners. Get into learning about Native Americans and First People and their stories. The US was built on business. The HBC was here first, when the Europeans came here for furs and other resources, that's how the US began. Not Pilgrims.

Palestine, from the villages around Bethleem for the most part. Other Latin American countries had more immigration from Syria and Lebanon. It's very old immigration too, between 1895 and 1918. Trump and his allies know that there are likely no Middle Easterners in the "caravan", they just say that because it's a trigger phrase for their base. They hear "Middle Eastern" and they automatically think "terrorism". It's just blatant fear-mongering and it's sad that so many people believe it and fall for it.

I only have more and more respect for Hasan as these episodes keep coming out, I didn't think I could appreciate him more. He is using his voice in the best way possible by serving as a voice for so many. Nothing but respect.

The instability in Honduras and the subsequent Migrant Caravan could have been a positive defining moment in politics. There should have been a U.N. meeting. Then, in partnerships with other countries and Congress' approval, there could have been a strategic effort to help these people. Instead, the pinnacle of narcissism spun human tragedy into fear-mongering for the sake of midterm votes.

Hasan is one of the most caring comedians ever, along with making people laugh is also giving important wake up calls to people.

Everytime Hasan speaks in Hindi, I'm proud he's an Indian.

You can't touch his obvious love for and loyalty to the US but you also can't subtract his brown identity - it made him who he is. People like Hasan act as a bridge between cultures. I think all of us can learn to appreciate such people ( because they are rare and beautiful) and don't find reasons to chop the bridge (at either end). Thnx.

Michael James I hope you could say the same if you were a mother with small kids, fleeing violence, drug cartels and sex trafficking, seeking a better life for her kids. I get that maybe it's written on a formal document that coming into our country the way that the caravan is is illegal, but if you can manage to look away from your TV on fox and friends for two seconds, you might be able to see that life and a lot of people's circumstances are more complicated than the words on that formal document saying that they can't be here. Walk a mile in their shoes because they've certainly walked many more than that to be a part of our country.

What? You are so very wrong. That joke aged like fine wine. A joke doesn't age poorly when it is revealed to be more correct than ever imagined before. An example of the joke aging poorly would be if, say, Alec Baldwin had moved on after said joke to become president and proceeded to solve all of the worlds issues to create a utopia.

Yes immigrants do. Undocumented foreigners do not. The only way you can claim immigrants are a net positive is if you lump in illegal and legal immigrants. If you isolate illegal immigrants and run the numbers they end up costing taxpayers. Illegals don't pay more in than we spend on them each year.

@ 90% of citizens in this country cant pay hospital bills. Immigrants and non immigrants alike. It isnt because they're immigrants it's because its insanely fucking expensive for no reason
