You mentioned the scope has good depth of field. But for Hunter Division FT in the US, we'd prefer a very narrow depth of field to help with distance estimation. Does the 14x50 scope have as narrow depth of field as say a Sightron SIII 10-50x60? Does the scope have parallax so that you can use parallax elimination to determine range to target? Thanks.

I'm looking at the immersive optics scopes i want one to use for HFT and some hunting. It will be used on an air arms 510 ultimate sporter. What one would you recommend? Thanks Glen.

Good for close range ratting though it only focuses down to 12 yards?

Do you think it's good for HFT ? I'm not sure.

hi John - did you have trouble with the very short eye relief on the IMMERSIVE OPTICS 10x40 when you mounted the night vision unit for night and day work but when in the day time wouldn`t the adapter ring fitted to the rifle scope , because of its length hit you in the eye if kept on as most are left on the scope as they can be a bit of a nightmare to get the NV unit cantered on the scopes' cross hair properly . Was it an issue leaving the adapter ring on the 10X40 SCOPE then trying to use the scope like normal will the rubber eye bell still protect you as it has only a 17mm eye relief .

There was no issues at all on getting the correct eye relief for the nightvision unit however on the 10x40 model we did struggle to open the collar up enough top fit the scope on this. however the smaller objective models have a smaller ocular diameter so this makes fitting easier. it was just about usable how i had it set up with the adapter fitted too. Kind Regards John

Thinking about getting one of these, but i wear glasses would this cause a problem with zero eye relief scopes , sorry if it's a stupid question but very new to shooting, thinking of mounting 1 on my walther reign.

That's a good question, the high magnification prismatics have very short eye relief which may not allow enough room for spectacles. I think you can remove or fold the rubber eye piece away. The 5x has a bit more eye relief.

Liked. Does this adjust for parallex? Thanks

You focus the objective on your zeroed range, then use the dioptre ring to focus the reticle. It's fixed magnification, so once you've set the objective and reticle focus, that's it. There was no evident parallax when I used one at GBSS - but it was my first use of the scope. I loved it, and found it was as easy to use as the SUIT sight on the SA80 - so any moron can use it.

Hello Julien This is a very personal question, and this depends on a multitude of circumstances. what distance are you shooting? what is your intended use? how big is the rifle the scope is being fitted to, you may not want the larger scope on a compact/ bull pup rifle. Kind Regards John OPW
