Half wondering what CDK and Shuriken would say about that I mean, on one hand the remix is amazing and even they applauded it On the other hand, it's a remix, which was adapted off the original, so sounds like their effort wasn't as valued/appreciated as Zeyta's effort in remixing their music (not that Zeyta's effort is not worth being valued/appreciated, I'm just saying it sounds like CDK and Shuriken were less appreciated despite making the original) That said, I'd say both Zeyta's remix and the original are epic and I'd love them equally, but that I'd probably play either at different occasions since they seem like they're appropriate for somewhat different occasions (not that I'm not ok with them being played at the same occasion, I'm perfectly fine with that and nowadays I actually play/prefer playing the original, THEN the remix right after since the added drama and epicness of the remix sounds best after listening to the original) due to the flow of the music being slightly different.

@@drd8278 yeah I'm not saying that's what you meant, I'm just saying it sounds a bit like that But thanks for clarifying and stating your reason behind your opinion, it's good to hear. Hoping I didn't offend you too much, I was just thinking that your original post sounded dismissive a little regarding the original as you said you "prefer it (the remix) a lot more" Not criticising your opinion but rather suggesting how you could have phrased it a bit more delicately if CDK and Shuriken saw it and thought you didn't like the original. (I know it's not really necessary as they may not care and also it sounds trivial and thus it's not my place but just felt like telling you should it come across as that)

Underrated comment.

I love how as the orchestral intro progresses more and more melodies are added to the point where the original lead can't be heard... until it all disappears, leaving only the original behind, played with a rock guitar this time. It feels like a moment of "you didn't forget what theme this was, did you?". You're a musical genius.

A very cool yet faithful recreation. I love the intro, it builds up well, and the guitars be MMM. Epic remix

Awesome remix that definitely improved on the original. For the record this is the account holder's brother typing in case she sees this in her notifications lol. Just one concession: the last half-minute (5.00-5.35) (personally for me) felt like it could be done better (didn't flow as well as the rest of the epic remix). If you'd be willing to hear suggestions, I'd feel like it'd sound better if it was changed to the section of the piano version of the original song in the actual Collab video or even if it had a You Say Run-style of ending (if you're familiar with Boku no/My Hero Academia) Just personal thoughts please don't take it as if I'm ordering the creator what to do with the remix (edited it multiple times not to have that tone). It was very well done overall. If anyone disagrees with my suggestion please feel free to reply down below (please no destructive language) and maybe the creator (if he/she had time) could comment on why the ending was made the way it was and whether my suggestion was valid. Edit: I requested for this comment to be pinned because I want to ask you guys (the community as well as CDK and Shuriken) whether these suggested modifications would be good or not. I did the same once before for another guy, Nib Roc (popular for 8-bit megamixes, you should check him out) with my old, now deactivated account (was my secondary school one, just graduated from JC now, I did mention this is my sister's one) so yeah I thought I should try to do the same for you because both your works were awe-inspiring and I wanted to convey my appreciation for your efforts. Don't know if you can but if you do make another version of this remix, maybe you can try making these changes? I'm sure it'd be even more epic (especially for anime fans lol) And yeah Nib Roc also acknowledged and responded to me back then, I am amazed even now by the creators who have time to both create fantastic work AND respond to people who share their appreciation and sometimes constructive criticism/analysis of the creators' work.

I honestly wish I could give this level of appreciation (sadly, it may take too much time and may never be acknowledged because the creators may be too busy or have too big a fanbase) for more people like you out there who put your time and effort into making these epic, inspiring videos to entertain the rest of us who haven't tried or felt like we couldn't do it. It's almost like you guys are setting an example for the rest of us and telling us we can do the same too. I don't know if I can speak for the whole of the KZread community, but I'm sure we are all grateful that creators like you exist and hope we can repay you by sharing our gratitude and appreciation and maybe even using the inspiration you instill in us to empower ourselves and each other, perhaps making this world a better place. By the way, for any of you reading this, check out Charlie Chaplin's Great Dictator speech and Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot speech I feel they encapsulate the emotions and hopes I try to convey in these messages. And just saying, if this sounds like those evangelical messages that the Christian population of this community post to try and encourage others (no offense to Christians, I do appreciate such types of messages unless they try too hard to impose their beliefs), I'm Hindu, but I try to appreciate all religions as they do have certain similarities in what they try to teach us (morals, values, etc) and also, these messages are coming from a purely appreciative rather than a religious standpoint.
