That thing is insane, in both performance and price.

The thing I like the most about these ultra powerful flashlights it's not the turbo. The turbo it's also fun but I like the fact you get a lot of light with a big runtime in the lowest settings. 1500 lumens for 4 hrs in this case.

Yeah turbo more only give you 45 seconds of runtime per their ad

Fantastic review and flashlight. makes night to daylight and it have great throw 👍

Nice review of this powerful little light. I do wish the Power Button was illuminated. That could be used to determine remaining power, and whether it is in Lockout mode.

Looks like I know what I'll be asking Santa for, at the end of the year. Nice review, brother. 👍

It would be nice if it could be used as a power bank. The one thing I have against the light is those fans. I understand what they are for, but if one goes bad how hard to replace.

Power Bank function would be super useful, Acebeam has a few lights that do that.

@michael meyer Another thing is the proprietary batt pack. They want like usd 150 for it. The pack might not go bad after 5 years, but it most probably would not be performing at 60-65k lumens esp if one is not careful about things (eg repeated long term storage for more than a few weeks at > 95% charge), from what I know from my other lights/cells that i have used for a longer period. I got legit Samsung 40Ts which i verified myself for around 18 usd for 4pcs.

No matter how many times i see a review on these Imalent flashlights i will never purchase one that has fans. As a channel that films in various different locations those fans are the most annoying sound in the world. Anyone who says they are quiet is kidding themselves. Fantastic light, GREAT review as always juggler but the fans are a no go for me. #flashlightstealth

Chip on board lights get hot and before the led something like this wasn’t possible. Hard to output this much light and keep it cool. They make options for film makers that output significant light and other non led options are available for long time use on set.

i have this ms12 mini XHP70.2 (My first imalent). I would prefer if imalent design this with a handle. The fans can stay where they are. I love my 2 manker mk38 (sft40 & xhp70.2 version) and acebeam x50 ver. 1. The handle is very handy to isolate the hand from all those heat.

@@littlej3777 whats the use of buying a high power light without running turbo all the time? thats the fun of it. Anyway, this light heats up fast enough without running multiple times of turbo. Have u try one before? Imalent already put a handle on the SR16 but the switch is still on the body. The switch can be hot enough to hurt your finger.

I just bought one it gets to hot to hold I bit silly if you ask me .

I have a similar looking five or six Cree led two light level flashlight minus the fans that I bought on Amazon a few years ago that thoroughly lights up my property and the 100 acre field next to me. I only paid about 15-20 bucks for it. $400 is too steep for me for a flashlight for any purpose. It's a nice light though.

It is definitely pricey, but I think it will get down to around $260 during the pre-Xmas sales. These companies always clear out everything towards the end of the year.

If you can find a coupon Imalent usually gives 40-60% off. Btw if you want high lumens for cheap convoy or astrolux is pretty good. Same with haikelite.

Well if your headlights on you vehicle every just go out make sure you have one of these in hand.

Good review. I want to recommend 2 budget folding knives I currently have for EDC purpose: mossy oak folding knife with a glass breaker and bottle opener, next is coast dx338 folding knife which is similar to the Spyderco knives.

Is definitely an amazing flashlight. No way this flashlight reaches 1036 meters, maybe 700. With this super large spill is not possible. However is a stunning light. By the way the fan noise is super super irritating!!
