This is beautiful, but I don't think the world is ready for such a masterpiece just yet.

All jokes and memes aside, this would unironically be a great concept for a game. An open world fantasy game with a humorous twist would stand out in a market that's oversaturated by games that take themselves so seriously.

I love the crafting mechanic in this game. You can make Shrek recipes from ingredients you collect (called Grosseries in the game)

This is so weird to see. There is this beautiful high-res detailed world with high quality textures... and then there is shrek with an impressive 20 polygons

An open world shrek game with the same humour and atmosphere of the movies would be unironically amazing

It could become a big franchise. The story is about saving these different fairy tale princesses but Shrek/Donkey style. The main campaign can have few popular princesses and then DLC princesses. He can jump timelines.

​@@Tupaxright now, lack of games is the real drag. Back in the day we had sh1tty hardware, but lots of cool games. Nowadays we have ps5, that's been out for 4 years now, with ps5 pro possibly coming out this year, and no games to play on it. Go figure

Makes me think of the Persona games where, if you stay in a dungeon area for too long, the Grim Reaper shows up, and his stats are so high he'll instantly KO you no matter how high your level is.
