This song helps me get through every day. I grew up on imagine dragons. Specifically bleeding out and demons. But I went to a mental hospital and while I'm still healing, I find my strength in music. This reminds me of my sister who passed away in 2017 or 2018-2019 I was 4 and I can’t stop thinking about her because she taught me almost everything that i know know I even locked her phone and all she did was hug me and said it was okay as we went through a lot because she had lucima and we tried everything but it would not go away and we had such a hard time her name was Emerald she loved green 😅and we pretty much me only me called her Emmy and she was a blast even when she hurt her self by accident and I said let’s play she would play with me and ran for so long and she will always be in my heart and my soul I miss her alot❤ and I hope everyday she has a great day in heaven as Chena or dog went along a year later and so as my cat Sammy/sam cat all our pets will always be in our soul and you should remember that or our lost ones will be there for you but it will come unexpected and they or your family willl always love you keep that in mind that let’s me keep in mind I’m okay when I’m near thing or on thing that scare me and I hope you have a good day or night everyone will be kind to you most the time if you are kind to them and you will always love your family even if you are mad so true (my mind is a place I can’t escape your ghost) and (oh I’m a wreck without you here) I have edited this comment because my dog just turned 14 I know she is going to let go of my hand but she won’t be in so much pain anymore as I know I sound as if we abuse her but I lived in the village when we found her so all the years her poor teeth she has no back teeth from playing almost the buck teeth we could never treat the condition at the moment as they would pull all her teeth out and she has the chance to die they will put her to sleep then take them out. I hug you. I think, the older you are the more difficult is it to move on. But they are always around you. Just try to speak with them when you feel like it. I am sure they will hear you and comfort you. I know this sounds odd, and sometimes the thought of them being there but invisible for me made me even more sad. But we all see each other again one day. It’s not a goodbye for ever. It’s a see you in future ❤❤❤❤❤

I had a step-dad who was more of a dad to me than my actual father (dont get me wrong, I still love him) He was one of the most important people in my life, I had such a special bond with him that I dont think I can replicate. I was about 10 or 11 when I lost him to suicide, im 14 now and I still cry thinking about him. Its really hard for me to get over it and this song really reminds me of him, I cry everytime I listen to it.

Lost my cousin 2 years ago. I miss him, he was like a brother to me and this song gives me more emotions than any other.

I have a very bittersweet relationship with this song, it gives me both happy memories of my grandpa somehow and it makes me miss him even more.

For some this is gonna sound really odd but as a child abuse survivor from my father who sexually abused me this song hits me hard because I'm in the process of healing and to the part where I am sad that I couldn't wait 2 years to be 18 and I'd still have a father to walk me down the aisle, to watch me grow in to the young woman I was made to be, to be in my kids lives as pop pop. It's just hard

Hey man, 8 months from when you posted this. I hope stuffs getting a bit better for you, and even if it isnt (and coming from someone on the internet, I know it wont mean much) it definitely will. I have a friend who had a lot of bad stuff going on for her in her life, a lot of bad stuff, but she stayed strong and she found someone she wholeheartedly loves and looks so much happier. All this stuff will make you stronger, and I hope that you are doing better now.

Listening to this never fails to make me tear up. On January 1 of 2021, my cousin and childhood friend shot herself. She was twelve years old. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her. She once told me that when she dies, she'll come back in the sunsets. I always sit on my porch to watch them because of that. RIP Aniya.

I lost my grandpa back in 2020 or 2021, I don't remember which to, to covid. The ended up setting up a Memorial service for him and others by turning off the tree, and on the news, since he was the one to pick out the Christmas trees for New York. Trust me, I feel you too. Stay strong, brother.
