Not specifically. i just used the term angel because i couldn't think of any other antonyms for monster. but in his own way satan could fit could fit into this. the bible never gave a reason for satan to betray god so satan never got the chance to justify him self so satan is 100% mis-understood because we can only guess about him. (don't take me word for word on this i don't read the bible) this quote from god knows who (maybe im the first to say something like this but i doubt it) was supposed to mean that no one is truly a bad person.

I think yes, they don't like the song. I like it but I'm not going to not understand why they might not like the song. For example, the lyrics are wrong. It's "a candle to guide me" not "a chamber inside me"

I used to listen to this all the time and this makes me miss those times. Imagine Dragons raised me quite well.

I always thought it was,"I'm only a man with a candle to guide me," basically meaning that in this world of darkness he's only a man with but a small flame of light to guide him through the darkness, I choose to still hear it that way, simply because I relate deeper to that meaning

Though for real this song describes me especially since I keep trying to be good and stuff I've blacked out and I know it sounds like bullshit but when I have blacked out I basically just become extremely violent and have nearly suffocated someone to death during one of the episodes only thing I remember is coming out of it with them up against a wall and my hand basically crushing their wind pipe and them looking very red in the face
