@@blahblahgdp if ur talking about league or valorant, id say its easier to win in those games because u can just get carried. It’s also not as infuriating to play, unless you’re getting flamed in the chat.

I almost wonder if this is just part of the no DC penalty problem. I was in ranked, plenty of 350k+ prowess people on alts. After maybe the 7th one I stopped rematching them, I also dealt with 8 rages quits. I doubt I wouldn’t have run the set if I already wasn’t having my time wasted by the rage quits.

One and done isn't the problem. what mirrio is saying here is that when you win against someone on both matches and you rematch with them again and if they win, at least give them the courtesy to run it back

Yo Miirio do you reckon T8 is worth picking up? I was a Hwoarang/Steve in 7 but I don't fancy the games aesthetics that much, the removal of RD for Heat, and how defensive has been so badly crippled by chip damage. The game looks like its trying to be 3dimensional MKX.

I'd say Tekken 7 was the better fighting game, despite its own flaws and low budget. Tekken 8 looks expensive and flashy but gameplay wise, It's dumbed down. It takes no creativity, and all the matches play the same. Get into heat and force a 50/50. Yeah sure Its new and interesting to watch for now but I doubt Its going to survive like Tekken 7 did.

Rage Drives in 7 always felt a bit tacked on to be honest, and I say this as someone who mains Yoshi, who imho had one of the most overtuned RDs in 7 and relatively uninteresting heat (forced NSS moves) in 8. But I see the bigger picture on what heat can do to improve characters in a more compelling way. Keep in mind at the same point of T7's life, RDs didn't even exist at all. There will be plenty of trial and error for a while and I wouldn't stress too much about it yet. On a side note, I also played MKX competitively from release to the last patch, and the two strongest character variations in it's overall history were Dragon's Fire Liu Kang and Crystalline Tremor, and they certainly were not '50/50 characters'. Just saying.

To be fair at higher ranks you get punished more if you lose, then its just a grind. But if you win you barely get anything and in the end you can get still demote even if you win majority of fights.

I hit flame ruler and started to not enjoy ranked anymore because thats right where you find the players that cant take an L no matter what. pluggers and one and done'rs everywhere

I always hear this complaint about Ranked but maaaaaan that's where all the real ones who are actually down to fight at. All I run into in QM are Win-Quitters, Rage Quitters, One-and-Doners, Trolls, and Special Style Babies who picked up Tekken for the first time ever. Man I swear, 2/10 fights go FT2 in QM.

@@LilShaqi Yeah, I guess that was pretty mean. But like...its more often than not just not that fun enough of a match for me and gets pretty boring after a while. If I run into somebody using it, I'll still play all 3 games tho. I just like tense and fun matches and Quick Match just don't hit like that for me. Tis why I stay in Ranked.

well its human nature. people don't like to lose especially if there something lose. they only practicing "choose your battle wisely". i think he will fight non stop if you invite him to lobby match.

Even when they win some dont rematch... they should add a bonus for rematch or something

They need to bring back death matches for ranked or quick match this 1 and done shit is annoying, if they don't want to make it infinite then 1 to 15 is good too
