My husband cried when I walked down the aisle. This is a man that NEVER cries lol. And we had a sweetheart table at our reception. We loved it. It was in Vegas so everyone was standing, drinking, and mingling anyway lol

Congratulations! Our daughter just got engaged, she’s 30 and I got married at age 30! So I think 29 is a great age! As mom of the bride, I thought the bride’s parents pay for everything, but I guess that’s not the case anymore! I’ve been a follower of your mom’s since the 1980’s! Your video was helpful for me too!

Honestly, I feel like you usually know pretty early when it's "the one." Whether early is the first date or a few months in. I met my husband when we were both 19 and by the end of our second date I was like "I think I'm gonna marry this one." Didn't love him, was clearly still getting to know him, but something about him... we were married 2 1/2 years later, going on 7 1/2 years of marriage. Let the strong, long lasting marriages (such as your parents) be a gift to you two. They are such an encouragement and a source of wisdom in a world that devalues long lasting marriage. Wishing you and Lane many happy years together!
