i feel like the top half of her is really great, and the design just falls so flat as you move down this doll y'know? like her hair, headpiece, shawl, face, all look very beautiful and glamorous, but then the rest of the dress is just like... the dress. something definitely feels like it's missing there. and i agree it doesn't seem to reference her character much at all, i actually saw another youtuber point that out (darlingdolls i believe) and it's so true. however, i am really in love with her hair! maybe you could spice her up with some accessories and better shoes to make her shine more.

No, it’s the hair color and the eye makeup. She needs darker hair and lighter eye makeup.

​@@m00nl1ghtba3 I love her hair and makeup. I think add a clutch purse and MAYBE make it an illusion dress, black over the purple, but that gold stitching is pretty too. Maybe make the bottom more "flamenco dancer" since she's afro Latina. 👍 Just adding more black tulle at the slit of the dress bottom would help.

you bought the mh equivalent to a holiday barbie basically. imo shes worth the $45 price point lol but then again as a primarily barbie collector these look so much better than your typical modern holiday barbies so maybe im just delulu. great review! ill def try to get her along with skelita

I ordered Clawdeen and she's really pretty. I really hate how they put so much effort into marketing Draculaura's dolls, over all of the other characters, especially Clawdeen. There was so much more that they could've did to make Clawdeen's doll really standout, but as usual she gets the barest attention, and accessories.

I’m glad I saw your thoughts on this because I’m still waiting on my doll in the mail but I do agree with you that she is missing something and that she doesn’t really feel complete. Love your thoughts

$25 no question, $45 hard pass for me. Although I wish I could sew because that dress pattern is nice. If I had the skills I would cut it into something else maybe even some trousers. I wonder if she sticks around long enough for her to go into some deep sales.

It's a holiday doll from Mattel released this year. Of course It's going to have low quality at a high price. That Mariah Carey doll looks the same as well. In the old days, this doll would retail for $20.

If she was a playine priced doll it would've been fine but with the pricepoint girlie looks like a prototype tbh. Her crown is stunning and love the curls and the blend but the blend itself is such a jarring clash against her skin tone and I'm all for a soft face up but it's definitely missing something. Her boa looks amazing and so is her necklace but the bracelet should've either been a hair piece, an anklet, or not done away with and should've had bangles and the dress itself is a nice color and pattern but webs doesn't really give clawdeen and the style of dress isn't giving at all we've been getting mermaid dresses from playline and the high priced skullectors and it needs to slow down or stop completely. Add some gold and brown to break up the hair blend and tie it to the dress more, add bangles and maybe a anklet, a bag or some accessory, change the dress style and add a darker purple to break up the monochromatic color and tie it with the hair and makeup and it'd definitely be worth it because it's sad when playline is beating the high priced collector dolls when it comes to quality and cohesiveness

I just got one of these dolls myself. The hair quality on mine is just so not good it looks nothing like the pictures just a frizzy mess and you can tell it has not been opened before it just came that way.😢

I already have Draculaura and Skelita Howliday so ill most likely get Clawdeen to comeplete the collection. I actually had her for preorder but i wanted Skelita first. I highly doubt Clawdeen will go on sale because Draculaura never went on sale if i remember correctly she kept going up in in price actually. Clawdeen is definitely 3rd place when it comes to the other two

I got 2 of these, in the apparently VAIN, but fervent hope that i would get a doll that matched the Box Art---I was INSANELY Disappointed!! The hair on both dolls was this Horrible Frizzy MESS!!! Mattel needs to be ASHAMED---they would Not dare to produce a Draculaura like this...talk about PHONING IT IN.....

I loved her until she came outa the box...lol 😂 her hair is horrible 🤷‍♀️ I ended up giving her twists. I would have left her in box but it got cracked in shipping. 😢
