11:22 I noticed that vals face slowly starts to take over all the screens including voxs own showing how much power he has over them both. Also to me it seemed like vox was conflicted on if he should tell Val or let angel try to kill him until Val's face shows up on his screen. Because like he couldve told Val that angel had the knife earlier but it wasn't until Val got close, when he was just entering the room did vox say anything. (This is just my observations)

Although very similar i would recommend watching the Hazbin version of Valentino by ParanoidDJ. I was watching the video and felt the voice is strange. Then noticed it's the original.

10:00 Oh my God! God! I've never seen this animatic before, I just found out this exists, but the implication is that Valentino and Vox maybe have a deal with each other, obviously with Velvet too most likely, is cool as hell. Like the union of overlords is not just that simple, they literally connect their souls with each other. This is most likely why other overlords, except Vees, are more solitary, since they cannot fully trust another overlord to make a deal for an alliance. I have never seen such a feature in the settings where there are deals exist. Usually there is just a master and a slave, but the fact that the union of masters is also connected with eachother is unique

I get the impression that Valentino really doesn't have any cares about Angel or Vox. He uses them both to his advantage. Angel knows this and wants to get away from Val. Vox possibly is aware he is being used but believes Val needs him more then he needs Val. As such even though he is aware Angel is a prisoner of Valentino, Vox just regards Angel as a gutter snipe who needs to be reminded of his place, and does take some sick enjoyment in seeing him getting punished.

Vox and Valentino are together, in the comics it was portrayed that Val abused Vox, but in the show it seems like they're on equal footing.

yes and no, they are on an equal footing, status wise but relationship wise from what we see val is more submissive towards vox and or listens to him more rather than how most people thought of it having vox listening to val in reality vox is the one taking control of their relationship, so vox is more dominant in their relationship acting and taking hold on majority of things. in their make out scene hes the one holding val by the hips ( which is usually how people potray the "dom" ), in their duet hes the one that starts the song tho that may just be because hes the only real V who cared about the fight in general, in the scene were he talks to val, vox shuts down vals idea of going bezerk on angies ass after charlie fucked up their shooting and in the scene before that vox just kinda talks about vals tantrums and antics more as childlike bitch boy tantrums rather than anything serious so status and realistically wise yes, relationship wise ( like whos dom/bottom ect, tho i believe they would stick to just one person topping 24/7 ) vox is the dom, from what weve seen atleast

@@NotASnaccImAMel Idk about going as far as to say they're not abusing each other which doesn't necessitate one exerting power over the other, they can have equal power and still be mutually abusive, but I'd say we haven't seen enough of their relationship in canon to go that far though I think an argument could be made for it. Val seems to have no regard to how his tantrum affects Vox, almost throwing a full whiskey glass at him and breaking his phone for literally no reason other than he's pissed and wants to take out his frustrations, and Vox himself is very manipulative and condescending to Val, clearly has little hesitation about at least trying to control Val, yell at him, or try to use his hypnotic powers to at least get Val to pay attention to him. Not to mention they enable each other's toxicity constantly. But I'd personally word it as "they're in a mutually toxic relationship where they seem to be equally toxic to and for each other that seems to be somewhat working out for them for the time being". Also Known As "They deserve each other." lmao (Sorry for the ramble, as a beautiful Owl once said, "I love words".)

Maybe try some more Paranoid Dj Songs. They have different Hazbin and Helluva Boss Songs really good!

The ship IS canon, we just don't know how the relationship itself is between both of the characters. (Whether they are lovey dovey towards each other while being evil, etc.)
