Can't understand why fitness model make millions of views with fancy exercises and this kind of work of art does not exceed 200,000 views. We will miss you Ilya !!!

Ilyia has functional strength, if he was asked to do 90-95% of what fitness influencers do, he would either match them or flat-out blow them out of the water. He is absurdly strong Very flexible all around Very charismatic Has legitimate experience that would be a wealth to most of the world population. I do not see most Instagram or tit tok fitness influences with this strong of base to back them up

The fitness world is all about fast results, angles, filters, short cuts etc. they’re not interested in functional strength or hard work.

Because fitness influencers do and show routines that the average person can do on a daily basis, not everyone want's to be a world class athlete

Without breaking a sweat. It looks easier than last year when he lifted 242 kg at worlds. This man is unique. There were many greats but he has never been beaten in competition and in doing so he breaks world records with consummate ease. And do not forget - he was moving from one category to another. A M A Z I N G!!!

Outlifting several +105 kg athletes in C&J. Seriously impressive. If only his snatch were a little better, he would set a total record that would be out of reach for decades. This man is already a legend, arguably the best lifter ever. Lets hope he can be active for many years like Dimas. 250 kg is a good bet for Rio!

Just amazing. Very, very few superheavies could clean that amount. Ilya keeps going up, up and up. He absolutely destroyed that weight! This looked fairly routine for him. He looked good for 250, maybe 255. Stood EASILY with the world record weight. It boggles the mind. Botev and Zakharevich were doing 250 twenty+ years ago, but they were in the 110 class. Certainly the most talented lifter in the world today. It will be interesting to see what he does in Rio; hopefully he will be healthy and in shape. With that lofty, untouchable C&J, he could probably be at a 10K deficit after the snatch and STILL win!
