1. I had the subtitles on my screen but they aren't on the video that I embedded because I don't screenrecord.
2. Toward the end I absolutely did not mean to contrast ethnic ballads with contemporary ballads. Ethnic ballads can certainly be contemporary too! What I meant to say was it's not an ethnic ballad, it's a more general type of ballad.

I love a ballad too! If they make me feel things, I'm always all in. lol. And if a ballad wins UMK I'm rooting for this one. For me, its more emotionally powerful than the others, even though I like them too.
My UMK winner! It being in Finnish makes it so much better too!!

I think these lyrics speak for many listeners during corona lockdowns.....I love her voice and as a Finn I will vote for her this weekend......Greetings.. ;) Thanks for your reaction!
This was really good and The perfomance was even better on the competition. It really went through My heart🥰
This song only gets better the more you listen to it. Plus I'm sure that lyrics about loneliness hit home for many, so we might see this do well in UMK. My fave!

If u want to listen ilta more you can watch "tähdet tähdet' in youtube where Ilta is singing songs like "I will always love you". So we can say that he is amazing singer

Finland is ultra weak this year for me... compared to some national selections FIK was a goldmine.
