Hi, I want to add some context. Ilse is singing at the first edition of her own festival called Tuckerville. She’s so emotional because she never expected for so many people to show up. She’s also crying cause she feels like her dad should’ve seen this. He passed away in 2011 and he was her biggest fan. This is in 2014 right after her huge succes with her band at the Eurovision songfestival and now her own yearly festival. She just wanted to her dad to know this. There’s an interview in a Dutch talkshow where’s she speaks about this and starts crying again. These are happy tears cause she’s so grateful. She’s the sweetest person ever and deserves this succes. 💗

@@Edwin-pq6dg she is a good singer, however, she's influenced by emotion during singing, which some people would say would make her bad performer. However it is something a lot of us like about her. The fact that she shows her emotions on stage, both happy and sad ones.

Ilse had to fight for years to become as famous as she is today. Hard work, writing songs that weren't listened to or played on radio. She invested in herself by going to America and developed herself there in Nashville and I can imagine those tears when seeing a full stadium. Only there for her!!! AND she deserves it!

She really felt that, and such an icon for her region they are so proud of her.

She is one miracle and one of the most real artists on this planet. She is marvelous!!!

This is played in the stadium from C Twente the soccer club where I be almost every home game they play , it’s almost sold out every game , beautiful stadion , good place for a concert like this😊

Ilse is such a great singer. I had the chance to see her once during a concert and even had the luck to stay for a small intimate concert afterwards for around 2000 people. We got to get so close to her, it was just insanely good

She is a "Tukker" not from Amsterdam, Rotterdam or The Haque. So she had to fight way harder for her succes. She has come far even recording in Nashville.

Best thing you did was opening up.. awesome

Normally she would sing this perfectly but here she is overcome by emotion and that affects her singing. Later in the song she settles down and regains her control.

I was wondering about that. Normally her voice is perfect.

I love her dialect. She's from a town called Almelo, in the east of The Netherlands. I live in that area too but my accent is a bit weird. I grew up in the west and moved to the east 30 years. So now in Rotterdam they say 'what a weird accent you have' and in the east they say 'what a weird accent you have' , lol. This wasn't her best performance though. Sounds like she's losing her voice.

It's difficult to sing when you're emotional like that, but she pulls it through.

Due to her emotions she is somewhat of tune, normally she is one of the best singers
