Yes, bacolod has more population (with 561,875) than Iloilo but there is no difference in the economy of bacolod, bacolod is still bacolod until now. Iloilo on the other hand has a good economy and has a lot to offer compared to bacolod. Rivers in Iloilo have esplanades, wide roads 8 lanes with service roads and bike lanes. Other than the modernized jeepneys, Iloilo will soon have an electrical jeepneys. Iloilo is still leading in terms of high-rise buildings and the tallest one in the western visayas is the Teranza Residence which is in the city proper district of Iloilo with that being said the Ilonggos are also striving hard to revive the Panay Railways and it's now in phase 2 this will connect to all 4 provinces including Caticlan this will also boost tourism and more infrastructure projects in the future for Iloilo.

Bacolod holds the tallest building in western visayas..the Sitari condo.. Bacolod has TWO Rockwell Projects..the Nara Residences which includes Rockwell Horizontals and Nara Condo Towers 1&2 and The Rockwell Center, Bacolod has Landers Superstore.. The charter was rushed because of the looming war. Kaya pare pareho na charter halos lahat.

Good HUC cities, both can compete with other HUC , a typical urban cities that has it characteristics and lifestyle, emphasize on urban planning will be the catalyst that separates them from other HUC

Bacolod is nice but has a lot of catching up in terms of infrastructure development and urban planning. Iloilo is more developed sth the moment and I should say is a model city that Philippine cities should strive to emulate. It’s clean, orderly, have proper sidewalks free of any obstruction, led lamps are in ubiquity, roads are wide and it seems like a healthy city with bike lanes in place and parks very well maintained. Iloilo is definitely a boomtown all Philippines cities can look up to. The only thing missing is mass public transport which I believe is in the pipeline

Bikelane overhyped..Only for leisure biking not a conveyance route for a daliy working class,Unlike bacolod's Bikelanes..it encompasses the highways of the city not just a select city center walkways.

Marumi at polluted ang Bacolod...di bagay ang bikelanes. Iloilo is a more breathable place suited for bikelanes and jogging areas kasi malinis ang streets. Soon....mawawala ng spaghetti cables sa main streets ng Iloilo.

ofcourse iloilo has a lot and far way improve compare to bacolod as of now .but for the longway run bacolod will surpass iloilo soon because of its massive land area twice compare to iloilo and high population growth. housing and condos will increasingly demand.

It's not far away if you look on many aspects... actually it is iloilo which is lagging behind Bacolod.. let's count which city have more over the others... Bacolod has these which iloilo don't:Ayala mall,FootLocker,Tom n Tom's,UCC clockwork,Cibo,Tongyang Buffet, Rockwell Center,Forbes Residences, Brighton Residences by Robinsons land,Landers Superstore,LDS Temple, Nestlé Regional Depot,The most beautiful McDonald's, San Miguel Brewery,Coca Cola Bottling plant, Pepsi cola bottling plant,a bus assembly plant, Robinsons Cybergate,Casa Mira Condo Towers,Vespa Dealership,Mini cooper dealership, Benelli dealership,Vistamall,Camella Olvera Condo.

Nope, sa video he said na mga taga Bacolod are called Bacolodnon which is true. But you can also call the people of Bacolod as “Bacolodnon or Negrense/Negrosanon “ since nasa Negros pa din naman ang Bacolod. But usually, the people from Bacolod preferred to be called Bacolodnon as they are proudly independent. Bacolod has its lone district and can stand on their own without the support of the Negros Province. On the other hand, you cannot call the people from other City of Negros Occidental Bacolodnon since they are not from Bacolod, they preferred to be called Negrense/Negrosanon.

The beauty of a place with vast land area compared to a place with a very scarse area,Sitari Condominium ng Bacolod lang naman ang tallest sa western visayas,may Rockwell center at Nara Residences ang bacolod,may ayala mall pa,May Forbes Subdivisions pa,at sandamakmak n listahan na meron ang bacolod n wala pa ang iloilo o kayay huli n ngkaroon ang iloilo

Sinu nag papati sa inyo na regional na ang sa bacolod? Amo na gne dako population ka bacolod pero it doesn’t prove anything na mas lamang kamo sa Iloilo.. ni wala gne kamo mga esplanade, bike lane, 8 lane roads w/ service road like diversion road in Iloilo. Family roots of bacolod is from iloilo, some are from tigbauan, Guimbal, miagao, etc.. So walang winner kc same ilonggo prn, stop diz non sense comparison.
