It's a relatively old trick though, I think Monster QR Code model has been out since July, that's why I was surprised to see the two videos within 24 hours but it seems like the model's gotten a new revival after that Reddit post went viral. Anyway, never saying no to additional SD content! 🙂

If you’re introducing QR monster to your community I suggest you also explain some of the finer details. It’s an extremely powerful model, but understanding how to best prepare the input images takes more than 30 seconds

Love this! But for my tries with Logos, they are very often very faint, almost blurry. Any idea how to fix this? Is this more likely about the model, the vae, cfg, steps, control weight,...?

Set the control weight high, try different cfg scal values. Try different models

try to reinstall the extension again, maybe it gave you some errors or something, any extensions you installed should appear there in extension folder @@maciekd4733

Without ctrlnet img2img borrows color information heavily from the alpha. Good for fixing lineart but otherwise ctrlnet is just objectively better.

You downloaded version 1, there's a version 2 in the same repo that's tons better than v1.

It's a hack because the controlnet model is for QR codes, not for Logos

@OlivioSarikas yes but just take any B&W pattern image and use it in controlnet, no need even for the qr model, with some tinkering and prompting you could get very close to illusion style images

This technique has been used in control net for many months but it's nice to revisit anyway. Not everyone remembers or may have missed it and this variation gets better results.

Error is all I see

yeah this is missing a ton of steps and assumes you've been following the channel from the beginning. Would be nice to have a link to your other tutorials to bring you up to your UI that you're using.
