Even today's metal. Ok, most of my friends have moved on to Death, or Black, or something very "eclectic", but for me... This kind of stuff is still the best.

Despite nu metal being hated by most "true" metalheads, you can't deny that nu metal had a huge influence on the development of metal from the mid-90s onwards, as well as being responsible for bringing metal into the mainstream and introducing generations of kids to the world of metal.

Same place I discovered them. The movie was completely meh and I only finished it because it was a group thing (slasher horror isn't my genre), but then I heard that ending song and just couldn't turn away

I will respectfully withhold her real name and general location. She and I have lost touch, and I often wonder what she's doing these days.
