Yeah I laughed so hard when she said "women can't handle rejection". It's got nothing to do with that, it's more a power thing. You see, when a company head hunts you, you can set the salary you want, you have all the power. When you go to a company and ask for a job they can pay you whatever they want because YOU went to them. They want men to chase them so they can be choosers. As the old saying goes, women are the gatekeepers of sex, men are the gatekeepers of commitment.

I love her rhythm and timing! Also, she uses her body language perfectly. Love the way she tells inner voice stories in a hunching witch persona.

Rejection is simple to overcome. Just realize that humans are fully selfish and it’s never about you. It’s always about the other person as to why you got rejected. Maybe they hate men, or read something or wanted an ego boost or have a std. It’s always about the other person. Never internalize a rejection as that’s straight egoism.

Perhaps the best of her generation. When she does the "monster voice" I swear she's channeling Sam Kinnison. Brilliant and Beautiful.

I will check it out regardless but was just curious, is it relatable to everyone regardless of gender or is it more for a female audience? This video in particular seemed very much female catered which is why I'm asking, but am looking forward to seeing a more broad range of her work. I hear a lot of top comedians praising her comedy so I'm sure she is very talented. Detractors like to bring up her constant use of her drunk valley girl impression as a basis to her comedy but I'm not going to place her in a box. I'm sure she has a ton of things to offer outside of that and am looking forward to watching that special.

There were plenty of men in the audience that were laughing. I will recommend you my favourite Netflix show of hers the funniest in my opinion. There are approximately 4 of her shows on Netflix throughout the years. For some reason one of them to me wasn't her best (I think the 2016 show) but the rest are hilarious. you might differ in opinion. Check it out 👍

i don’t think the material in itself is too funny but her delivery, timing and pacing is what makes her a comic. she’s a master at that.

I've watched all of her standup on Netflix, looking for more! This excerpt from her act is hilarious, and yet even funnier in the longer, unexpurgated version. Her hour-long specials are like a roller-coaster ride.
