Visited Ilfracombe a few years ago, bizarre Damien Hirst statue on the harbour edge, but the oddity that you went past without a close up, was an eye opening monument was just next to the strange conical theatre. Just to side of the building are four circular mosaic circles with a long concrete line connecting them in one straight line. This odd monument is a physical depiction of Jonathan Edwards world record triple jump leap of 18.40m, (just over 60 feet). The distance looks impossible to achieve. The puzzle is, why is it here at Ilfracombe? He was born in London, lives in Newcastle, and no apparent connection to Devon. If anyone can answer my query, please let me know. Great video, keep em coming.

It was looking a bit run down when we were there so we decided to leave it out and film the best parts of Ilfracombe. We will be going back soon so will film the High Street then

Just come back from Ilfracombe and its beautiful, I found the high Street quite dated but that added to the charm,the harbour is stunning with Verity looking over it, peaple were friendly also climbed to the little Chapel, breathtaking views.

It's the landmark theatre building, don't know why they did that design but it definitely stands out :)

Yes you may be lucky enough to spot one from the land. But if not, there's definitely boat trips specifically for seeing the seals

In Ilfracombe i'm not sure, you could go for a walk along the coast path and try and spot them. Or try asking someone when you're there, they may know specifically where you could see some. Alternatively try googling it. Seals have been spotted at Morte Point, Woolacombe. There's a walk on the National Trust website that sounds good for seal spotting.
