Sir, Infact there is no suitable word to define such a great musical analysis on Mastro's composition. How easily you explained to a common man like me. My sincere request to you is please compile all such works as a thesis and submit with your eloquent explanation in all Indian as well as foreign universities. Not a single Music composer can produce his volume of gifts to human kind. Raja sir you are simply the best in music. To Barathiraja, you may be a good visionary in the 80s but without Raja sir's music and score your films would have fallen flat.

Good analysis, Tesla sir! I'm an addict of "Veedu" theme music. Very FEW people notice such DETAILS in IR music. I like the way you explained the details in the song "Poo Malarnthida" from 'Tik tik tik'. It is SAD that many people just "skim" the surface of the song and declare it as "I love it" or "I hate it" or "it is just okay, average" etc. If EVERYONE had really INDULGED in the details of every song that IR created (including the BGMs), IR would have been MUCH MORE celebrated.

Congrats to the great man for getting the 2nd highest award at last. Even though it's a higher honor it is considered as a small compliment for his talent&caliber. On b'Raja's comments don't take his words seriously because who ever like him&others like kathir,kb,p.vasu's film carriers came to an end by switching to devil's music. But this great man's popularity has not come down even a single percentage.why?the other msd music is almost faded¬hing stands against the time &due to jealous these people are barking against the "mountain".pl don't take it seriously by giving a reply.

The UMT film interlude brings tears in my eyes especially when watching the veteran actors playing out the emotional scene as per the great KB's script. A potential breakup in the family is prevented by the nagaswaram, starting with a crescendo and mellowing down the ruffled feelings gradually. A masterpiece by all standards. It is a shame that nagaswaram players were treated badly in the early days. I appreciate your genuine feelings.

Nice way to celeberate the padma award.. MSV composed " I will sing for you" song in a Sivaji Ganesans movie ...Mappilaikku & poo malarndhida maybe the extended version of that song but neverin the Tamil music we wouldve heard this sound before.. Innovation is Raja. Now few peoples stomach are burning after maestro was named for the award.. Better to ignore them.. :)
