Pure jazz... Hail the king 👑 ... I ve heard the Hindi version for decades until one day I heard the Tamil version... I don't feel like listening to the Hindi version anymore

SPB has sung several moon songs. So he is fondly called " the singing moon".

Thé God has created Ilaiyaraja when he was in happy mood.

Beautiful song. If I have to name my top IR song, this pretty much makes it and its an extremely complex decision. Not only did the Tamil version come out sooner, the entire composition including the guitar interludes, etc. are leaps and bounds ahead of the Hindi version. With Ilaiayaraaja its not just about the lyrics and the singer. The bass guitar work, and guitar and keyboard arrangements are out of the world.

Neele Neele tune was taken from this original(hindi version was not by raja sir), though I find Tamil version had the beautiful ilaiyaraja touch of interludes, which makes it more beautiful. 😍

Acting is most important part of a Song"s success....because its visually based ....Actor Mohan was performed very well.in that song..and gave correct and fit lip movement ... Its surprise this film was his 3rd Tamil movie in his carrier...But he shows full talent and action which was very suitable for this scene...

This is the original version, sung by the legend SPB Sir. and it’s technically far better than “Neele Neele Ambar Par.” Spb sir took the song to another level and especially the last guitar piece was out of the world.

@@ranksns408 In KZread, there is an interview with the son of the Hindi music producer where he described how his father made that song and it got made in Hindi and then in Tamil. It is Bengali film Song, not Bangla Wala Song. Regards

@@arun5096 The Rhythm guitar played by Radha Vijan (Viji), The lead portion by Chandrasekar (Andra guitar player). Chandrasekar has to play a dozen times to achieve that perfection in those takes. Even now not many can play these guitar parts beautifully. I believe Gangai Amaran always played Rhythm guitar. If you listened to guitar pieces from the 50 to70s, most leads played by George. George also played for many Indian language films those days. He was in such demand as lead guitar was not played by many. Regards

Neele Neele ambar par was your favorite. But it was tuned by Kalyanji Anandji. So it would be a copied tune. Mohan was called mike mohan because most of the song would be stage song. Yarr veetil roja, Sangeetha megam, aatha aathorama are some of his mike songs. Yaar veetil roja and Vizhiyile mani vihzhil have great music composition by the Indian maestro. I often hear Karaoke of those songs.

Nele Amber came in the movie kalaakar in 1983, whereas payangal mudivathilai came a year before in 1982. No credit was given for Ilayaraja, whereas Nele Nele Amber reached lot of people in India and this tamizh song confined to Tamizh Nadu and Kerela audience alone.

Nele Nele Ambur pur was remake of this tamil version, if you don't agree then check the dates of the movies from Tamil and Hindi But this song was taken at midnight till 3am for 18 to 20 takes by composer

It's actually a Tamil song and composed so but recreated in Hindi version for the remake of Hindi movie for the Hindi audience and so nothing to be surprised abt as it's very normal that many don't know how many were made so for the northern belt region from the south. There a few Hindi version produced simultaneously for both region but realised earlier in the north which doesn't mean it was reproduced for the south Bcos all of such dual or multilingual production is based on southern composition but tweaked to suit the north instead !!!
